Claims (9)
- 視野を有するレーダ装置である装置であって,
送信器と,
受信ビームを受信するように構成された複数のフェーズドアレイ要素を含む,フェーズドアレイ受信器であって,前記複数のフェーズドアレイ要素のそれぞれはアンテナ素子及び移相器を含み,前記複数のフェーズドアレイ要素はサブアレイにまとめられ,前記サブアレイのそれぞれは前記複数のフェーズドアレイ要素の少なくとも二つを含み,サブアレイ信号を供給する,フェーズドアレイ受信器と,
複数の混合器であって,前記複数の混合器のそれぞれは連携するサブアレイから前記サブアレイ信号を受信し,前記複数の混合器のそれぞれはさらに,局部発振器信号を受信し,混合器信号を発生する,複数の混合器と,
前記複数の混合器から前記混合器信号を受信するデジタルビーム形成器と,
前記局部発振器信号を発生する局部発振器と,
前記フェーズドアレイ受信器が受信した受信ビームの方向を変えるように動作できるフェーズドアレイアンテナ制御器であって,前記受信ビームは角度幅を有する,フェーズドアレイアンテナ制御器と,を備え,
前記デジタルビーム形成器は前記混合器信号から仮想ビームを決定し,該仮想ビームは前記受信ビームより狭く,前記受信ビームの角度幅内に配置され,
前記デジタルビーム形成器および前記フェーズドアレイアンテナ制御器は,プロセッサを含む電子制御回路で提供され,
前記電子制御回路は,前記視野を複数のセクタに分割し,前記複数のセクタのそれぞれに重要度パラメータを与え,前記重要度パラメータの降順に,前記複数のセクタからレーダデータを受信し,さらに前記レーダデータを分析するために,デジタルビーム形成アルゴリズムを用いて前記受信ビーム内に複数の仮想ビームを決定し,
前記複数のセクタのそれぞれの重要度パラメータは,車両環境の種々の条件を反映し,且つ,受信した前記レーダデータから得られた標的追尾データを用いて決定される,装置。 - 前記デジタルビーム形成器は,前記プロセッサによって実行されるデジタルビーム形成アルゴリズムによって提供される,請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記デジタルビーム形成アルゴリズムは,多信号分類(MUSIC)アルゴリズム及び回転不変技法による信号パラメータの推定(ESPRIT)アルゴリズムからなる一群のアルゴリズムから選択される,請求項2に記載の装置。
- 前記送信器はフェーズドアレイ送信器である,請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記混合器の数は,サブアレイの数に等しい,請求項1に記載の装置。
- 地上車両に搭載するようにした車両レーダである,請求項1に記載の装置。
- レーダ標的を特定するようにレーダを動作させる方法であって,該レーダは受信ビーム及び視野を有し,
前記視野を複数のセクタに分割するステップと,
前記複数のセクタのそれぞれに重要度パラメータを与えるステップと,
フェーズドアレイ受信器を用いて,前記重要度パラメータの降順に,前記複数のセクタのそれぞれに前記受信ビームを向けるステップと,
前記セクタからレーダデータを受信するステップと,
前記レーダデータを分析するために,デジタルビーム形成アルゴリズムを用いて,前記受信ビーム内に複数の仮想ビームを決定するステップと,を有し,
前記仮想ビームはそれぞれ,前記受信ビームより狭いビーム幅を有し,
前記仮想ビームは前記レーダ標的を特定するために用いられ,
前記重要度パラメータは車両環境の種々の条件を反映し,且つ,受信した前記レーダデータから得られた標的追尾データを用いて決定される,方法。 - 前記フェーズドアレイ受信器はフェーズドアレイアンテナ素子のサブアレイを含み,
各サブアレイは連携する混合器を有し,該連携する混合器は前記サブアレイから局部発振器信号及びサブアレイ信号を受信し,
前記デジタルビーム形成アルゴリズムは,前記混合器からの出力信号を用いて前記複数の仮想ビームを決定する,請求項7に記載の方法。 - 前記レーダは車両レーダであり,前記方法は該車両レーダを動作させる方法である,請求項7に記載の方法。
