Claims (13)
- 光信号をルーティングするための結合装置において、
構造化反射面及び光ファイバ保持構造を有する、可鍛性の金属材料からなるベースであって、光ファイバの端面が前記光ファイバの光軸に沿って前記構造化反射面から所定の距離に配置されるように、前記ベースの上に、前記構造化反射面及び前記光ファイバ保持構造が、前記可鍛性の金属材料をスタンピングすることにより一体的に定められているベース、
を有し、
前記光ファイバ保持構造が、前記構造化反射面に対して前記光ファイバを、前記光ファイバからの出力光が前記構造化反射面によって前記結合装置の外部に反射され得るか、あるいは前記構造化反射面に入射する前記結合装置の外部からの入力光が前記光ファイバに向けて反射され得るように、正確に位置合わせするものであり、
前記光ファイバ保持構造が、前記ベース上に設けられた溝を有し、前記溝が前記構造化反射面に対して位置合わせされている、
ことを特徴とする結合装置。 - 前記溝が、前記光ファイバの前記端面と前記構造化反射面との間の前記所定の距離を定めるために前記光ファイバの前記端面の一部が突き当たることができるストップを定める、肩を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の結合装置。
- 前記溝が開放溝であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の結合装置。
- 前記構造化反射面が凹面であることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項に記載の結合装置。
- 前記光ファイバを、光受信器および/または光送信器に物理的及び光学的に結合するために使用されることを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項に記載の結合装置。
- 送信器/受信器モジュールにおいて、
請求項1から4いずれか1項に記載の結合装置、及び
前記構造化反射面に対して支持される光源及び光検出器の少なくとも一方、
を有し、
前記光源が前記構造化反射面によって反射される前記入力光を発生し、前記光検出器が前記構造化反射面によって反射された前記出力光を受光する、
ことを特徴とするモジュール。 - 前記光源が送信器の部品であり、前記光検出器が受信器の部品であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のモジュール。
- アクティブ光ケーブルにおいて、
少なくとも1本の光ファイバを有する光ファイバケーブル、
前記光ファイバの第1の末端に物理的及び光学的に結合された、請求項6または7に記載の送信器モジュール、及び
前記光ファイバの第2の末端に物理的及び光学的に結合された、請求項6または7に記載の受信器モジュール、
を有することを特徴とするアクティブ光ケーブル。 - 光信号をルーティングするための結合装置を作製する方法において、
構造化反射面及び光ファイバ保持構造を有する、可鍛性の金属材料からなるベースを、光ファイバの端面が前記光ファイバの光軸に沿って前記構造化反射面から所定の距離に配置されるよう、前記ベースの上に前記構造化反射面及び前記光ファイバ保持構造が一体的に定められるように、前記可鍛性の金属材料をスタンピングすることにより形成する工程、
を含み、
前記光ファイバ保持構造が、前記構造化反射面に対して前記光ファイバを、前記光ファイバからの出力光が前記構造化反射面によって前記結合装置の外部に反射され得るか、あるいは前記構造化反射面に入射する前記結合装置の外部からの入力光が前記光ファイバに向けて反射され得るように、正確に位置合わせするものとして形成され、
前記光ファイバ保持構造が、前記ベース上に設けられた溝を有するものとして形成され、前記溝が前記構造化反射面に対して位置合わせされる、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記溝が、前記光ファイバの前記端面と前記構造化反射面との間の前記所定の距離を定めるために前記光ファイバの前記端面の一部が突き当たることができるストップを定める、肩を有するものとして形成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の結合装置を作製する方法。
- 前記溝が開放溝として形成されることを特徴とする請求項9または10に記載の結合装置を作製する方法。
- 前記構造化反射面が凹面として形成されることを特徴とする請求項9から11いずれか1項に記載の結合装置を作製する方法。
- 前記結合装置が、前記光ファイバを、光受信器および/または光送信器に物理的及び光学的に結合するための結合装置であることを特徴とする請求項9から12いずれか1項に記載の結合装置を作製する方法。
