Description
図1は、本実施形態に係る電池10の概略断面図である。本実施形態に係る電池10は、たとえば、非水系二次電池の一種であるリチウムイオン二次電池である。
次に、以上のような構成を有する電池10に含まれる電極の製造方法について説明する。なお、以下の電極の製造方法は、正極電極21および負極電極22について基本的に同様の処理となる。したがって、以下では、一例として、正極電極21の製造方法について説明する。負極電極22についても、正極電極21と同様の作用や効果が得られることに留意する。
次に、上記の製造方法により形成された電極活物質層25、27への電解液28の含浸時間(含浸速度)について評価実験1を説明する。

Claims (5)
- 活物質層がシート状の集電体の少なくとも一面に形成されてなる電極を、常温でプレスする第1プレスステップと、
前記第1プレスステップにおいてプレスされた常温状態の前記電極を、前記活物質層において前記集電体に接触する第1面と当該第1面と反対側の第2面のうち、前記第2面のみを130℃以上、且つ150℃以下の温度で加熱しつつ、プレスする第2プレスステップと、を有し、
前記第1プレスステップにおいて、最終目標とする所定の密度を基準として20%以上50%以下の圧縮を行う電極製造方法。 - 前記第1プレスステップにおいて、最終目標とする所定の密度を基準として30%以上50%以下の圧縮を行う請求項1に記載の電極製造方法。
- 前記電極は、前記集電体の両面に活物質層が形成されており、
前記第1プレスステップおよび前記第2プレスステップでは、前記電極の両面からそれぞれの前記活物質層をプレスする請求項1又は2に記載の電極製造方法。 - 前記集電体上に活物質を塗布する塗布ステップと、
前記塗布ステップにおいて塗布された前記活物質を乾燥させて前記活物質層を形成する乾燥ステップと、
をさらに有する請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の電極製造方法。 - 活物質層がシート状の集電体の少なくとも一面に形成されてなる電極を、常温でプレスする第1プレス部と、
前記第1プレス部においてプレスされた常温状態の前記電極を、前記活物質層において前記集電体に接触する第1面と当該第1面と反対側の第2面のうち、前記第2面のみを130℃以上、且つ150℃以下の温度で加熱しつつ、プレスする、前記第1プレス部とは異なる第2プレス部と、
を備える電極製造装置。
