Description
環Arは芳香族性環を示し、R4は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状アルキル基、直鎖状又は分岐鎖状アルコキシ基、又は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状アルキルチオ基を示し、pは0又は1〜3の整数である]。
前記式(1)又は(2)で表される繰り返し単位において、Mは、非共有電子対を有する元素(ヘテロ原子)であればよく、通常、周期表15族(又は5B族)元素(例えば、N、P、As、Sb、Bi)である。これらの元素Mのうち、P、As、Sb、Bi(特にP)が好ましい。
このような有機ヘテロ高分子は、Synthetic Metals, 159 (2009), 949-951又は有機合成化学協会誌Vol66 No5 2008に記載の方法に準じて合成できる。すなわち、有機ヘテロ高分子は、以下の反応工程式により調製できる。
R6で表されるアルキル基としては、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、イソプロピル基、ブチル基、イソブチル基、s−ブチル基、t−ブチル基などの直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C1−6アルキル基が例示できる。アルキル基R6としては、分岐アルキル基、例えば、イソプロピル基などである場合が多い。Xで表されるハロゲン原子としては、塩素原子、臭素原子などが例示できる。
有機ヘテロ高分子は、芳香族性環と、ヘテロ原子を含む5員環単位とで共役系(π−共役系)を形成しており、かつ電子受容性ドーパントがドープされており、極めて電子移動度が高く、半導体特性を有している。しかも、アルキル鎖を導入した有機へテロ高分子は、有機溶媒に対する溶解性に優れ、かつ高い半導体特性を示すという特色がある。そのため、本発明は有機へテロ高分子と有機溶媒とを含む組成物も包含し、この組成物は、有機半導体、特にコーティング(塗布)などにより有機半導体の薄膜を形成するのに有用である。
ゲルパーミエーションクロマトグラフィ(GPC)(溶媒:テトラヒドロフラン)により、ポリスチレン換算で測定した。
実施例、参考例及び比較例のポリマー7mgを塩化メチレン10gに溶解させた後、孔径0.2μmのフィルターでろ過して0.07重量%の塗布液を調製した。この塗布液をガラス基板にスピンコートし、薄膜を形成した。得られた薄膜の表面抵抗を、抵抗率計(三菱化学(株)製、「MCP−HT450」)を用いて測定した。
実施例、参考例及び比較例のポリマーの塩化メチレン溶液(濃度:1mg/ml)を用いて、紫外−可視吸収スペクトル測定を行い、λmax及びλonsetを測定した。なお、λmaxは最大吸収波長(nm)、λonsetは長波長側の吸収端(nm)を意味する。バンドギャップ(BG,eV)は、紫外−可視吸収スペクトルのλonsetから以下の式を用いて算出した。

サイクリックボルタンメトリー法により酸化還元電位測定を行い、HOMO及びLUMOエネルギー準位を測定した。

Claims (9)
- 有機半導体を形成するための有機ヘテロ高分子であって、下記式(1b)又は(2b)
R 4c は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C 4−12 アルキル基、直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C 4−12 アルコキシ基、又は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C 4−12 アルキルチオ基を示し、Z 2 は酸素原子、硫黄原子又はNR 4f (R 4f は水素原子、直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C 1−6 アルキル基、又は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C 1−6 アルキル−カルボニル基を示す)である]
で表される繰り返し単位を有する有機ヘテロ高分子。 - R1がC6−10アリール基であり、R2が直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C1−4アルキル基、直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C1−4アルキルチオ基、又は直鎖状又は分岐鎖状C1−4アルキルセレノ基である請求項1記載の有機ヘテロ高分子。
- R3が、R3aSO3(式中、R3aは直鎖状又は分岐鎖状ハロC1−6アルキル基を示す)又はR3b(X)q(式中、R3bは周期表12族元素、13族元素、14族元素又は15族元素を示し、Xはハロゲン原子を示し、qは2〜5の整数を示す)である請求項1又は2記載の有機ヘテロ高分子。
- 数平均分子量が、1×103〜1×105である請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の有機ヘテロ高分子。
- 有機半導体を形成するための組成物であって、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の有機ヘテロ高分子と、有機溶媒とを含む組成物。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の有機ヘテロ高分子で形成された有機半導体。
- 基材の少なくとも一方の面に請求項5記載の組成物を塗布して乾燥し、有機半導体を形成する有機半導体の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の有機ヘテロ高分子で形成された有機半導体を含む電子デバイス。
- 光電変換素子、スイッチング素子及び整流素子から選択された一種である請求項8記載の電子デバイス。
