Description
第1の層に、第1の組の繊維の配列を含む第1の部分と、第1の接続端部と、第2の組の繊維の配列を含む第2の部分と、第2の接続端部とを設けるステップであって、第1の接続端部が、第1の層接合部を形成する第2の接続端部に隣接して、または突き当たって配置される、ステップと、
少なくとも1つのさらなる層を第1の層の上に設けるステップであって、さらなる層が、第1の組の繊維の配列を含む第1の部分と、第1の接続端部と、第2の組の繊維の配列を含む第2の部分と、第2の接続端部とを含み、さらなる層の第1の接続端部が、第2の層接合部を形成するさらなる層の第2の接続端部に隣接して、または突き当たって配置される、ステップとを含み、
各隣接層の層接合部は、階段状構造に離間している。
A)タイヤ(図示せず)が取り付けられる環状構造を備えるリム部分102
B)円形ハブ106および一連のスポーク108を含む正面部分104。ハブ106は、車両のホイール取り付け部にホイールを固定するために使用される固定用ボルト(図示せず)を受けるように構成された5つの固定用穴107を含む。スポーク108は、一端においてハブ106に接続され、他端においてリム部分102に接続された、細長いアームを含む。
A.第1の層125Cにおいて、第1の接続端部を有する第1の組の繊維の配列を備える第1の部分と、第2の接続端部を有する第2の組の繊維の配列を備える第2の部分とを設けるステップであって、第1の接続端部を、層接合部を形成する第2の接続端部に隣接して、または突き当てて配置する、ステップ。
B.さらなる層125B、125Aを、第1の層125Cと類似の構成を有する第1の層125Cの上に設けるステップ。ただし、各隣接層124A、125B、125Cの層接合部132A、132B、132Cは、階段状構造に間隔をあけて配置されている。
C.層接合部132A、132B、132Cの構造を覆うために最終キャップ層135をリム部分102の内側面114の上に設けるステップ。
Claims (32)
- 複合材ホイールの、第1の組の繊維から形成されるリム部分と第2の組の繊維から形成される正面部分との間の接続部であって、
前記リム部分と前記正面部分との間に設けられ、前記リム部分から延びる前記第1の組の繊維と前記正面部分から延びる前記第2の組の繊維とが相互に接続される移行領域を備え、
該移行領域が、相互に接続された前記第1の組の繊維および前記第2の組の繊維からそれぞれ形成される複数の層からなる層構造を有し、
各前記層は、前記第1の組の繊維の第1の接続端部と前記第2の組の繊維の第2の接続端部とが相互に隣接する、または相互に突き当たる層接続部を有し、
相互に隣接する層の前記層接合部が、階段状構造に間隔をあけて配置されている
接続部。 - 各層の前記層接合部が、各隣接層の前記層接合部から横方向に離間している、請求項1に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 各隣接層の前記層接合部が、略同じ横方向の間隔をあけて離間している、請求項2に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記階段状構造が、複数の前記層接合部が同一直線上に配列する階段状配列を含む、請求項1から請求項3のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記層構造が、複数の積層を含む、請求項1から請求項4のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記層構造の各層が、前記第1の組の繊維の配列を含む第1の部分および前記第2の組の繊維の配列を含む第2の部分の同一平面配列を含む、請求項1から請求項5のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記移行領域は、前記リム部分が前記複合材ホイールの前記正面部分と交わる位置から離間している、請求項1から請求項6のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記複合材ホイールが、中心のホイール軸の周りに形成され、
前記正面部分の前記第2の組の繊維が、前記ホイール軸に対して略半径方向に配列した第2の繊維を備え、
前記リム部分の前記第1の組の繊維が、前記ホイール軸に対して略軸方向に配列した第1の繊維から形成され、
前記接続部が、前記ホイール軸に対して略軸方向に配列した前記正面部分から延在する第2の繊維と、前記ホイール軸に対して略軸方向に配列した前記リム部分から延在する第1の繊維とから形成される、請求項1から請求項7のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。 - 前記リム部分が、前記軸に対して角度をなして延在する縁フランジ部分を含み、
前記接続部の前記第1の繊維が、前記縁フランジ部分から延在する、請求項8に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。 - 前記移行領域からの前記第1の組の繊維を構成する第1の繊維の少なくとも一部が、前記リム部分の中へ延在し、
前記移行領域の前記第2の組の繊維を構成する第2の繊維の少なくとも一部が、前記複合材ホイールの前記正面部分の中へ延在する、請求項1から請求項9のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。 - 前記移行領域における前記第2の繊維の少なくとも一部分が、前記正面部分の前方部分の中へ延在する第1の組の第2の繊維と、前記複合材ホイールの前記正面部分の後方部分の中へ延在する第2の組の第2の繊維とを含む、請求項10に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記移行領域における各層が、配向した繊維、好ましくは単向性繊維または双軸性繊維を含む、請求項1から請求項11のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記第1の組の繊維および前記第2の組の繊維が、炭素繊維を含む、請求項1から請求項12のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記第1の組の繊維および前記第2の組の繊維が、プリプレグ、セミプレグ、織布もしくは不織布、マット、プリフォーム、事前に固めたプリフォーム、個別もしくは群の繊維、トウ、またはトウプレグのうちの少なくとも1つとして提供される、請求項1から請求項13のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記第1の組の繊維および前記第2の組の繊維が、少なくとも1つのファブリックシート、好ましくは多軸ファブリックとして提供される、請求項1から請求項14のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのための接続部。
- 前記各層が、前記第1の組の繊維の配列を含む第1の部分および前記第2の組の繊維の配列を含む第2の部分を有し、
前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分の一方またはそれぞれが、所望の形状および繊維の向きを有する適合した繊維プリフォームから形成される、請求項1から請求項15のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。 - 前記第1の接続端部および前記第2の接続端部が、縫い合わせられるか、または織り合わせられる、請求項1から請求項16のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記移行領域の前記層状構造の前記層が、前記ホイールの前記リム部分または前記正面部分のうちの少なくとも1つ、好ましくは前記リム部分の表面に対して、略平行である、請求項1から請求項17のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記層接合部の前記階段状構造の上に実質的に延在する少なくとも1つのキャップ層をさらに備える、請求項1から請求項18のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記キャップ層が、前記第1の組の繊維または前記第2の組の繊維の配列を備える層を備える、請求項19に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記リム部分および前記正面部分のそれぞれが、前記接続部が調製される時点において、少なくとも部分的に未硬化である、請求項1から請求項20のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記第1の組の繊維を構成する第1の繊維および前記第2の組の繊維を構成する第2の繊維を被覆するマトリックス材料をさらに備える、請求項1から請求項21のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記マトリックス材料が、不飽和ポリエステル、ポリウレタン、ポリビニルエステル、エポキシ、熱可塑性、類似の化合物またはそれらの組合せを主成分とする樹脂を含む、請求項22に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記移行領域が、複合材ホイールの前記リム部分と前記正面部分のスポーク部分との間に接続部部分を含む、請求項1から請求項23のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 前記接続部部分が、前記複合材ホイールと一体形成されている、請求項1から請求項24のいずれかに記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分との間の接続部。
- 複合材ホイールのリム部分が第1の組の繊維から形成され、前記複合材ホイールの正面部分が第2の組の繊維から形成され、前記リム部分から延びる前記第1の組の繊維と前記正面部分から延びる前記第2の組の繊維とを相互に接続することで前記複合材ホイールの前記リム部分と前記正面部分とを接続する方法であって、
第1の層に、前記第1の組の繊維の配列を含む第1の部分と、前記第2の組の繊維の配列を含む第2の部分とを設けるステップであって、前記第1の組の繊維の第1の接続端部が、前記第2の組の繊維の第2の接続端部に隣接して、または突き当たって配置されることで、前記第1および第2の接続端部が相互に隣接する、または相互に突き当たる層接合部を形成する、ステップと、
少なくとも1つのさらなる層を前記第1の層の上に設けるステップであって、前記さらなる層が、前記第1の組の繊維の配列を含む第1の部分と、前記第2の組の繊維の配列を含む第2の部分とを有し、前記さらなる層の前記第1の組の繊維の第1の接続端部が、前記さらなる層の前記第2の組の繊維の第2の接続端部に隣接して、または突き当たって配置されることで、前記第1および第2の接続端部が相互に隣接する、または相互に突き当たる第2の層接合部を形成する、ステップと
を含み、
相互に隣接する層の前記層接合部が、階段状構造に離間している、方法。 - 請求項1から請求項24のいずれか一項に記載の接続部を使用する、請求項26に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分とを接続する方法。
- 前記層接合部の前記階段状構造の上に実質的に延在する最終キャップ層を設けるステップをさらに含む、請求項26または請求項27に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分とを接続する方法。
- マトリックス材料を前記接続部の前記層のそれぞれと接するように設けるステップと、 前記接続部を硬化させるステップと
をさらに含む、請求項26、請求項27または請求項28に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分とを接続する方法。 - マトリックス材料を前記ホイールの各リム部分および前記正面部分と接するように同時に設けるステップと、
前記ホイールの前記リム部分および前記正面部分を同時に硬化させるステップと
さらに含む、請求項29に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分とを接続する方法。 - 前記層のうちの少なくとも1つのための前記繊維が、1つまたは複数のプリプレグ、セミプレグ、織布もしくは不織布、マット、プリフォーム、事前に固めたプリフォーム、個別もしくは群の繊維、トウ、トウプレグまたはその組合せとして提供される、請求項26から請求項30のいずれか一項に記載の複合材ホイールのリム部分と正面部分とを接続する方法。
- 請求項1から請求項25のいずれか一項に記載の接続部を含む複合材ホイール。
