Description
以下に本発明を詳述する。
本発明者は400〜450nmの波長域の可視光線を吸収し、かつ、高い透明性が得られる光吸収剤を検討した。その結果、上記化合物X又は上記化合物Yを含む合わせガラス用中間膜を用いて合わせガラスを製造すると、400〜450nmの波長域の可視光線を吸収できるだけでなく、透明性が高い合わせガラスが得られることを見出した。害虫を誘引する波長域として、一般的に、370nm付近の光線や、480nm付近の光線が知られている。本発明者は、上記化合物X又は上記化合物Yを含む合わせガラス用中間膜を用いて合わせガラスを製造すると、370nm付近の光線や、480nm付近の光線を吸収できるだけでなく、透明性が高い合わせガラスが得られることを見出した。
上記ポリビニルアセタールは、ポリビニルアルコールをアルデヒドでアセタール化して得られるポリビニルアセタールであれば特に限定されないが、ポリビニルブチラールが好適である。また、必要に応じて2種以上のポリビニルアセタールを併用してもよい。
上記ポリビニルアセタールのアセタール化度の好ましい下限は40モル%、好ましい上限は85モル%であり、より好ましい下限は60モル%、より好ましい上限は75モル%である。
なお、上記アセタール化度及び水酸基量は、例えば、JIS K6728「ポリビニルブチラール試験方法」に準拠して測定できる。
上記ポリビニルアルコールの重合度の好ましい下限は500、好ましい上限は4000である。上記ポリビニルアルコールの重合度が500以上であると、得られる合わせガラスの耐貫通性が高くなる。上記ポリビニルアルコールの重合度が4000以下であると、合わせガラス用中間膜の成形が容易になる。上記ポリビニルアルコールの重合度のより好ましい下限は1000、より好ましい上限は3600である。
上記エーテル結合を有する有機基は、−O−R11という構造を有することがより好ましい。ここで、R11は、炭素数1〜10のアルキル基であることがより好ましく、炭素数1〜5のアルキル基であることが更に好ましく、炭素数1〜3のアルキル基であることが特に好ましい。上記アルキル基として、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基及びペンチル基等が挙げられる。上記アルキル基の主鎖は直鎖構造であってもよく、分岐構造であってもよい。
上記アリール基は、フェニル基、又は、水酸基若しくはアルコキシ基を有する芳香環であることがより好ましく、水酸基若しくはアルコキシ基を有する芳香環であるアリール基であることが更に好ましく、6〜20の炭素数を有するアリール基であることが特に好ましい。
上記一般式(1)又は上記一般式(2)中、R3は、有機基であれば特に限定されないが、水素原子、水酸基又はNR25R26であることが好ましく、水酸基又はNR25R26であることがより好ましい。R25及びR26は、有機基であれば特に限定されないが、水素原子又はアルキル基であることが好ましく、水素原子であることがより好ましい。
上記エステル結合を有する有機基は、−C(O)−O−R41という構造を有することが好ましい。ここで、R41は、アルキル基又はアリール基であることが好ましい。上記アルキル基は、炭素数1〜10のアルキル基であることがより好ましく、炭素数1〜5のアルキル基であることが更に好ましく、炭素数1〜3のアルキル基であることが特に好ましい。上記アルキル基として、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基及びペンチル基等が挙げられる。上記アルキル基の主鎖は直鎖構造であってもよく、分岐構造であってもよい。
上記アリール基は炭素数6〜20のアリール基であることがより好ましく、炭素数6〜18のアリール基であることが更に好ましい。
上記エーテル結合を有する有機基は、−O−R61という構造を有することがより好ましい。ここで、R61は、炭素数1〜10のアルキル基であることがより好ましく、炭素数1〜5のアルキル基であることが更に好ましく、炭素数1〜3のアルキル基であることが特に好ましい。上記アルキル基として、例えば、メチル基、エチル基、プロピル基、ブチル基及びペンチル基等が挙げられる。上記アルキル基の主鎖は直鎖構造であってもよく、分岐構造であってもよい。
上記アリール基は炭素数6〜20のアリール基であることがより好ましく、炭素数6〜18のアリール基であることが更に好ましい。
上記一般式(3)又は上記一般式(4)中、R8は、有機基であれば特に限定されないが、水素原子、水酸基又はNR27R28であることが好ましく、水酸基又はNR27R28であることがより好ましい。R27及びR28は、有機基であれば特に限定されないが、水素原子又はアルキル基であることが好ましく、水素原子であることがより好ましい。
上記アリール基は炭素数6〜20のアリール基であることがより好ましく、炭素数6〜18のアリール基であることが更に好ましい。
上記化合物Bとして、例えば、コントラストがより一層高い画像を表示できることから、ジエチル−2,5−ジアミノテレフタレート(Aldrich社製)が好ましい。
上記熱可塑性樹脂層中のマグネシウムの含有量は特に限定されず、好ましい下限は20ppm、好ましい上限は500ppm、より好ましい下限は50ppm、より好ましい上限は400ppm、更に好ましい下限は100ppm、更に好ましい上限は300ppmである。
なお、上記アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属及びマグネシウムの含有量は、ICP発光分析装置(島津製作所社製、「ICPE−9000」)により測定することができる。
上記フェノール構造を有する酸化防止剤はフェノール骨格を有する酸化防止剤である。上記フェノール構造を有する酸化防止剤としては、例えば、2,6−ジ−t−ブチル−p−クレゾール(BHT)、ブチル化ヒドロキシアニソール(BHA)、2,6−ジ−t−ブチル−4−エチルフェノール、ステアリル−β−(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート、2,2’−メチレンビス−(4−メチル−6−ブチルフェノール)、2,2’−メチレンビス−(4−エチル−6−t−ブチルフェノール)、4,4’−ブチリデン−ビス−(3−メチル−6−t−ブチルフェノール)、1,1,3−トリス−(2−メチル−ヒドロキシ−5−t−ブチルフェニル)ブタン、テトラキス[メチレン−3−(3’,5’−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオネート]メタン、1,3,3−トリス−(2−メチル−4−ヒドロキシ−5−t−ブチルフェノール)ブタン、1,3,5−トリメチル−2,4,6−トリス(3,5−ジ−t−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシベンジル)ベンゼン、及びビス(3,3’−t−ブチルフェノール)ブチリックアッシドグリコールエステル及びペンタエリスリトールテトラキス[3−(3,5−ジ−tert−ブチル−4−ヒドロキシフェニル)プロピオナート]等が挙げられる。上記酸化防止剤は一種のみでもよく、二種以上を併用しても良い。
本発明の合わせガラス用中間膜は、更に、上記熱可塑性樹脂層の他方の面に第2の樹脂層が配置されていてもよく、第1の樹脂層の上記熱可塑性樹脂層が積層されている面とは反対の面に第2の樹脂層が配置されていてもよい。上記第2の樹脂層はポリビニルアセタールを含むことが好ましい。なお、上記熱可塑性樹脂層の他方の面とは、一方の面の反対の面を意味する。
上記第1の樹脂層及び第2の樹脂層に含まれる可塑剤は、上記熱可塑性樹脂層に可塑剤を含む場合は、上記熱可塑性樹脂層に含まれる可塑剤と同一であってもよく、異なっていてもよい。
第1の樹脂層の耐湿性が高くなることから、第1,2の樹脂層中のアルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属及びマグネシウムの含有量の合計は300ppm以下であることが好ましい。例えば、上記アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属及びマグネシウムは、上記接着力調整剤に由来する金属として含んでもよく、ポリビニルアセタールを合成する際に用いる中和剤に由来する金属として含んでもよい。第1,2の樹脂層中のアルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属及びマグネシウムの含有量の合計は200ppm以下であることがより好ましく、150ppm以下であることが更に好ましく、100ppm以下であることが特に好ましい。
上記ガラス板は、一般に使用されている透明板ガラスを使用することができる。例えば、フロート板ガラス、磨き板ガラス、型板ガラス、網入りガラス、線入り板ガラス、着色された板ガラス、熱線吸収ガラス、熱線反射ガラス、グリーンガラス等の無機ガラスが挙げられる。また、ガラスの表面に紫外線遮蔽コート層が形成された紫外線遮蔽ガラスも用いることができる。更に、上記ガラス板としてポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリカーボネート、ポリアクリレート等の有機プラスチックス板を用いることもできる。
上記ガラス板として、2種類以上のガラス板を用いてもよい。例えば、透明フロート板ガラスと、グリーンガラスのような着色されたガラス板との間に、本発明の合わせガラス用中間膜を積層した合わせガラスが挙げられる。また、上記ガラス板として、2種以上の厚さの異なるガラス板を用いてもよい。
(1)熱可塑性樹脂層を形成する樹脂組成物
トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)40重量部に、紫外線吸収剤としてベンゾトリアゾール化合物(BASFジャパン社製「Tinuvin326」)0.2重量部、多価金属を含む化合物として酢酸マグネシウム四水和物を加え、混合して、可塑剤溶液を調製した。得られた可塑剤溶液の全量と、重合度が1700であるポリビニルアルコールをn−ブチルアルデヒドでアセタール化することにより得られたポリビニルブチラール(アセチル基量0.9mol%、水酸基量30.6mol%、ブチラール化度68.5mol%)100重量部とをミキシングロールで充分に混練することにより、熱可塑性樹脂層を形成する樹脂組成物を調製した。なお、合わせガラス用中間膜中のマグネシウム元素の濃度が160ppmとなるように、トリエチレングリコールジ−2−エチルヘキサノエート(3GO)に酢酸マグネシウム四水和物を添加した。
テトラヒドロフラン50重量%とエタノール50重量%とを含む溶媒に、一般式(3)で表される構造を有する化合物であるジエチル−2,5−ジヒドロキシテレフタレート(Aldrich社製「2,5−ジヒドロキシテレフタル酸ジエチル」)を2.5重量%となるように溶解させ、塗布液を調整した。
熱可塑性樹脂層を形成する樹脂組成物を、押出機を用いて押出し、熱可塑性樹脂層を得た。得られた熱可塑性樹脂層の一方の表面(最も面積が広い面)に、ポリビニルブチラール100重量部に対して、一般式(3)で表される構造を有する化合物であるジエチル−2,5−ジヒドロキシテレフタレート(Aldrich社製、「2,5−ジヒドロキシテレフタル酸ジエチル」)の含有量が0.5重量部となるように、溶液を塗布した。溶液が塗布された熱可塑性樹脂層を100℃のオーブンで90分間加熱し、溶剤を揮発させ、合わせガラス用中間膜を作成した。合わせガラス用中間膜を目視で観察したところ、色目が変化したことから、一般式(1)で表される構造を有する化合物が得られたと考えられる。合わせガラス用中間膜の厚みは800μmであった。
得られた合わせガラス用中間膜を縦50cm×横50cmに切断した。切断後の合わせガラス用中間膜を、縦50cm×横50cmの一対のクリアガラス(厚み2.5mm)の間に積層し、積層体を得た。得られた積層体を、真空ラミネーターにて90℃下、30分保持しつつ真空プレスを行い圧着した。圧着後140℃、14MPaの条件でオートクレーブを用いて20分間圧着を行い、合わせガラスを得た。
熱可塑性樹脂層を形成する樹脂組成物の組成や、塗布液の組成を表1のようにした以外は、実施例1と同様に合わせガラス用中間膜及び合わせガラスを得た。
溶液を塗布しなかった以外は実施例1と同様に合わせガラス用中間膜及び合わせガラスを得た。
実施例、及び、比較例で得られた合わせガラスについて、以下の方法で評価を行った。
分光光度計(日立ハイテクノロジーズ社製、U−4100)を使用して、JIS R 3106に準拠して、得られた合わせガラスの370nm、390nm、410nm、450nm、460nm、470nm、480nm、490nm、及び、500nmの透過率を測定した。
分光光度計(日立ハイテクノロジーズ社製、U−4100)を使用して、JIS R 3106に準拠して、得られた合わせガラスの可視光線透過率を測定した。
得られた合わせガラス(縦50cm×横50cm)の片面のガラス表面に透明粘着剤を塗布した。透明粘着剤を塗布していないガラス側にハロゲンランプを設置し、白色光を照射した状態で、屋外(積水化学工業滋賀水口工場内:2013年8月)に1時間(20時〜21時)放置した。放置後に透明粘着剤に付着した羽虫の数を数えた。

- 一般式(1)又は一般式(2)中、R 2が水素原子又は水酸基を表し、R3が水素原子、水酸基又はNR25R26を表し、R25及びR26は有機基であり、R4が水素原子、水酸基又はエステル結合を有する有機基を表し、R5が水素原子又は水酸基を表すことを特徴とする請求項1記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 一般式(1)又は一般式(2)中、Mがマグネシウムを表すことを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の合わせガラス用中間膜。
- 請求項1、2又は3記載の合わせガラス用中間膜が、一対のガラス板の間に積層されていることを特徴とする合わせガラス。
