Description
本発明の具体的態様は以下のとおりである。
[1]
新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニットの生成物を用いて有機原材料を酸化することによってエポキシ化合物を合成するプラントにおける消耗したブラインから構成される廃棄流の有機物質含量を減少させる方法であって、次の:
(a)水流を、処理する消耗したブライン中に注入して蒸気ストリッピングを行い;
(b)次亜塩素酸塩を用いてpH3.5〜5及び50〜60℃の温度において予備酸化し;
(c)次亜塩素酸塩の存在下において、pH3〜4及び80〜95℃の温度において最終酸化を行って新たなブラインを得る;
逐次工程を含む上記方法。

消耗したブラインが、工程(a)の入口において10,000mg/Lの酸素より高く、工程(a)の出口において2,000〜4,000mg/Lの酸素のCODを有する、[1]に記載の方法。
[3]
蒸気ストリッピング工程を3〜4の間に調節したpHにおいて行う、[1]又は[2]に記載の方法。
[4]
消耗したブラインが、工程(b)の出口において400〜1,500mg/Lの酸素のCODを有する、[1]〜[3]のいずれかに記載の方法。

工程(c)の出口における新たなブラインが40mg/Lの酸素以下のCODを有する、[1]〜[4]のいずれかに記載の方法。

有機原材料が、プロピレン、塩化アリル、及びグリセリンからなる群から選択され、エポキシ化合物がプロピレンオキシド又はエピクロロヒドリンである、[1]〜[5]のいずれかに記載の方法。

電気分解セルが非分割タイプのアルカリブライン電気分解セルである、[9]に記載の方法。

最終酸化工程を、フッ素化ポリマー繊維を含む非アスベスト隔膜セパレーターを装備した電気分解セルから構成される、新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニット内で直接行う、[9]に記載の方法。

(d)活性炭上に吸収させることによって塩素化副生成物の濃度を調節し;
(e)酸性範囲に調節したpHにおいて亜硫酸塩を注入することによって塩素酸塩の濃度を調節する;

新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニット、消耗したブラインの蒸気ストリッピングユニット、次亜塩素酸塩を用いる予備酸化のユニットを含む、エポキシ化合物の合成プラント。

新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニットが、フッ素化ポリマー繊維を含む非アスベスト隔膜セパレーターを装備した電気分解セルから構成される、[13]に記載のプラント。

塩素及び苛性ソーダが供給される反応器から構成される最終酸化ユニットを更に含み、新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニットがメンブレンタイプの電気分解セルから構成される、[13]に記載のプラント。

Claims (16)
- 新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニットの生成物を用いて有機原材料を酸化することによってエポキシ化合物を合成するプラントにおける消耗したブラインから構成される廃棄流の有機物質含量を減少させる方法であって、次の:
(a)水流を、処理する消耗したブライン中に注入して蒸気ストリッピングを行い;
(b)次亜塩素酸塩を用いてpH3.5〜5及び50〜60℃の温度において予備酸化し;
(c)次亜塩素酸塩の存在下において、pH3〜4及び80〜95℃の温度において最終酸化を行って新たなブラインを得る;
逐次工程を含む上記方法。 - 消耗したブラインが、工程(a)の入口において10,000mg/Lの酸素より高く、工程(a)の出口において2,000〜4,000mg/Lの酸素のCODを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 蒸気ストリッピング工程を3〜4の間に調節したpHにおいて行う、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 消耗したブラインが、工程(b)の出口において400〜1,500mg/Lの酸素のCODを有する、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 工程(c)の出口における新たなブラインが40mg/Lの酸素以下のCODを有する、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 有機原材料が、プロピレン、塩化アリル、及びグリセリンからなる群から選択され、エポキシ化合物がプロピレンオキシド又はエピクロロヒドリンである、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 次亜塩素酸塩を用いる予備酸化工程を、塩素及びアルカリを供給することによって行う、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 次亜塩素酸塩を用いる予備酸化工程を非分割タイプの電気分解セル内で行う、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 最終酸化工程を電気分解セル内で行う、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 電気分解セルが非分割タイプのアルカリブライン電気分解セルである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 最終酸化工程を、フッ素化ポリマー繊維を含む非アスベスト隔膜セパレーターを装備した電気分解セルから構成される、新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニット内で直接行う、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 続いて、次の:
(d)活性炭上に吸収させることによって塩素化副生成物の濃度を調節し;
(e)酸性範囲に調節したpHにおいて亜硫酸塩を注入することによって塩素酸塩の濃度を調節する;
同時又は逐次工程の1以上を行う、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法。 - 合成プラントの消耗したブラインの有機物質含量を減少させる手段を含み、かかる減少手段が、新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニット、消耗したブラインの蒸気ストリッピングユニット、pH3.5〜5及び50〜60℃の温度において予備酸化を行うように適合されている次亜塩素酸塩を用いる予備酸化のユニット、並びに塩素及び苛性ソーダが供給される反応器から構成される最終酸化ユニットを含む、エポキシ化合物の合成プラント。
- 新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニットが、フッ素化ポリマー繊維を含む非アスベスト隔膜セパレーターを装備した電気分解セルから構成される、請求項13に記載のプラント。
- 新たなブラインが供給されるクロルアルカリ電気分解ユニットがメンブレンタイプの電気分解セルから構成される、請求項13に記載のプラント。
- 予備酸化ユニットが非分割タイプの電気分解セルから構成される、請求項13〜15のいずれかに記載のプラント。
