Claims (4)
- 転写サブシステムを含む可変データデジタル平版印刷システム用のインク塗布サブシステムであって、
前記可変データデジタル平版印刷システムの再作像可能面上には、インクを受容しない湿潤溶液が塗布された湿潤領域と、前記湿潤溶液が選択的に除去されたインク受容空隙とが設けられており、
インクを表面に受容するように配置され、前記再作像可能面へ前記インクを供給する第1のインクローラと、
前記インクが供給された前記再作像可能面を加熱する加熱装置と、
前記加熱装置によって加熱された前記再作像可能面を、前記転写サブシステムに到達する前に冷却するように配置された、冷却装置と、
を備える、インク塗布サブシステム。 - 前記第1のインクローラは、その前記表面から前記再作像可能面へ前記インクが転写されるようにすべく、前記再作像可能面に物理的に接触させてある、請求項1に記載のインク塗布サブシステム。
- 前記第1のインクローラはその中に中空筒状内部領域を画成する筒状部材であり、さらに前記加熱装置は前記中空筒状内部領域内に配置してある、請求項1に記載のインク塗布サブシステム。
- 前記加熱装置は、輻射熱ヒータと、実質径方向に配向し、前記第1のインクローラの前記表面を加熱するレーザ光源と、前記中空筒状内部領域内の前記第1のインクローラの表面に固定した電子加熱素子と、前記中空筒状内部領域を介して昇温させた流体流を生成し、その中を流れる流体が前記第1のインクローラに熱を分与できるようにした流体流動サブシステムとからなる群から選択される、請求項3に記載のインク塗布サブシステム。
