Claims (2)
- 制御装置からポスト噴射命令を受けた燃料噴射装置からの燃料を排気管で酸化反応させてその反応熱で排気ガスを昇温させるアフターターボキャタリストの異常検知方法であって、
前記アフターターボキャタリストの入側温度を測定し前記制御装置へ測定値を送信するATC入側温度測定手段と、
前記アフターターボキャタリストの下流側の温度を測定するATC下流側温度測定手段と、を備え、
前記制御装置は、ポスト噴射命令を送信後、前記アフターターボキャタリストの下流側の温度が前記アフターターボキャタリストの入側温度に対して昇温されない場合、前記燃料噴射装置の作動を判定し、前記燃料噴射装置が正常に作動していれば、前記アフターターボキャタリストが異常であると判定し、
前記アフターターボキャタリストの下流側の温度が前記アフターターボキャタリストの入側の温度に対して昇温であれば、前記アフターターボキャタリストが正常であると判定することを特徴としたアフターターボキャタリストの異常検知方法。 - 前記燃料噴射装置は、
燃料を圧送するサプライポンプと、
前記サプライポンプから圧送された高圧燃料を蓄えるコモンレールと、
前記サプライポンプから前記コモンレールへの燃料吸入量を調整する燃料調量弁と、
前記コモンレールに蓄えられた高圧燃料を噴射するインジェクタと、を備え、
前記制御装置は、ポスト噴射命令を送信後、前記燃料調量弁の開弁のために通電される電流の変化により前記燃料噴射装置の作動が正常か異常かであるかを判定することを特徴とした請求項1に記載のアフターターボキャタリストの異常検知方法。
