本出願は、2012年2月3日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/594,575号明細書(「コンシューマーエアロサイド製品(Consumer Airocide Product)」)の利益を主張し、その開示全体を本願明細書に援用する。
Claims (21)
- ノズル通路を画定する少なくとも1つの壁を含むハウジングであって、前記ノズル通路は前記ハウジングの少なくとも一部分を通って延びるものであり、前記ノズル通路は前記少なくとも1つの壁の上流部分に隣接するベントを有し、前記少なくとも1つの壁の少なくとも第1の部分が前記ベントから下流の前記ノズル通路の軸から外側に逸れている、ハウジング;
複数の光触媒媒体と、前記光触媒媒体の少なくとも一部分を照明して光触媒反応を生じ、複数のヒドロキシルラジカルを生成するように配置された光源とを含む光触媒反応室;及び
前記光触媒反応室に流体的に結合され、前記光触媒反応室を通るように空気を運び、且つ前記空気を、前記ベントを通るように及び前記少なくとも1つの壁の少なくとも一部分に沿うように方向付けるようにした送風器であって、前記光触媒反応室及び前記送風器がハウジング内部に少なくとも部分的に配置される、前記送風器
を含む装置。 - 前記ノズル通路が、前記ベントに隣接してコアンダ表面を含む、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つの壁の第2の部分が、前記壁の前記第1の部分から下流の前記ノズル通路の前記軸に対して、前記壁の前記第1の部分から外側に逸れている、請求項1又は2に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングが、前記ノズル通路を画定する少なくとも2つの概して対向する壁を含み、各壁が、各壁に隣接し且つ各壁の上流部分にベントを含む、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ノズル通路が略四角形の断面を有する、請求項4に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングが、前記ノズル通路を少なくとも部分的に囲む前記ハウジング内部を画定する、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングが、さらに、前記送風器、前記光触媒反応室、及び前記ベントを流体的に結合する通路を画定する、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記光触媒反応室が、取り外し可能な反応室カートリッジを含み、前記複数の光触媒媒体及び前記光源が、前記反応室カートリッジ内に少なくとも部分的に含まれる、請求項6に記載の装置。
- 前記光触媒媒体が、光触媒物質を含む微孔性ナノ粒子膜で被覆された媒体基板を含む、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記光触媒物質がTiO2を含み、及び前記光源が、約400nm未満の波長の紫外線光を放出する、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記光触媒物質が、ZnO及びWO3の少なくとも一方を含み、及び前記光源が、可視スペクトルの光を放出する、請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記送風器が、前記光触媒反応室に前記空気を押し込むように構成されている、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記送風器が、前記光触媒反応室から前記空気を引き出すように構成されている、請求項1から11のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- ノズル通路の上流部分に隣接して少なくとも1つのコアンダエグゾーストを有する前記ノズル通路を画定するハウジングであって、前記ノズル通路は前記ハウジングの少なくとも一部分を通って延びるものであり、前記ノズル通路の少なくとも一部分が前記少なくとも1つのコアンダエグゾーストから下流の前記ノズル通路の軸から外側に逸れている、ハウジング;
前記ハウジングによって画定された内部に少なくとも部分的に配置され、且つ前記ハウジングに取り外し可能に結合された光触媒反応室カートリッジであって、複数の光触媒媒体と、光触媒媒体の少なくとも一部分を照明して、前記光触媒媒体の光触媒反応から複数のヒドロキシルラジカルを生成するように配置された光源とを含む光触媒反応室を含む、光触媒反応室カートリッジ;
前記ハウジングによって画定された前記内部に少なくとも部分的に配置され、且つ前記光触媒反応室カートリッジ及び前記少なくとも1つのコアンダエグゾーストに流体的に結合されて、前記光触媒反応室を通って前記少なくとも1つのコアンダエグゾーストから出るように空気を運ぶようにする送風器
を含む装置。 - 前記光触媒媒体が、光触媒物質の微孔性ナノ粒子膜で被覆された基板を含む、請求項14に記載の装置。
- 前記光触媒媒体がTiO2光触媒物質を含み、及び前記光源が、約400nm未満の波長の光を放出するUV光源を含む、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記光触媒媒体が、ZnO及びWO3の光触媒物質の一方を含み、及び前記光源が、可視スペクトルの光を放出する、請求項15に記載の装置。
- 前記ハウジングが、略矩形断面を有する前記ノズル通路を画定する4つの壁を含む、請求項14から17のいずれか一項に記載の装置。
- 前記ノズル通路を画定する2つの概して対向する壁に関連付けられた少なくとも2つの概して対向するコアンダエグゾーストを含む、請求項18に記載の装置。
- 2つの光触媒反応室カートリッジを含み、前記2つの光触媒反応室カートリッジの各々が前記2つの概して対向するコアンダエグゾーストの各々に関連付けられている、請求項19に記載の装置。
- 略矩形断面を有するノズル通路を画定する4つの壁を含むハウジングであって、前記ノズル通路は前記ハウジングの少なくとも一部分を通って延びるものであり、2つの対向する壁が、前記ノズル通路の上流部分に隣接して、それぞれコアンダエグゾーストを含み、前記ノズル通路の少なくとも一部分が前記コアンダエグゾーストから下流の前記ノズル通路の軸から外側に逸れている、ハウジング;
前記ハウジングによって画定された内部に少なくとも部分的に配置され、且つ前記ハウジングに取り外し可能に結合された光触媒反応室カートリッジであって、複数の光触媒媒体と、光触媒媒体の少なくとも一部分を照明して、前記光触媒媒体の光触媒反応から複数のヒドロキシルラジカルを生成するように配置された光源とを含む光触媒反応室を含む、光触媒反応室カートリッジ;
前記ハウジングによって画定された前記内部に少なくとも部分的に配置され、且つ前記光触媒反応室カートリッジ及び前記少なくとも1つのコアンダエグゾーストに流体的に結合されて、前記光触媒反応室を通って前記少なくとも1つのコアンダエグゾーストから出るように空気を運ぶようにする送風器
を含む装置。
