Claims (5)
- 負極と正極を電解質膜を介して隔離し、酸化反応を起こす負極活物質を含む気体を負極に供給し、還元反応を起こす不揮発性の正極活物質を含有する液体を正極に供給するとともに、
電解質膜が、珪酸化合物,タングステン酸化合物,ジルコン酸化合物から選択される少なくとも一種類を含む無機化合物とポリビニルアルコールが化合した無機/有機ハイブリッド化合物を含むことを特徴とする燃料電池。 - 負極に供給される気体に含まれる負極活物質が水素である請求項1記載の燃料電池。
- 正極に供給される液体中の不揮発性の正極活物質が、バナジン酸イオン又はマンガン酸イオン,或いはその化合物である請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池。
- 正極に供給される液体中の不揮発性の正極活物質が、リンバナドモリブデン酸である請求項1又は2に記載の燃料電池。
- 正極に供給される液体が酸素とも接しており、正極上で還元されて還元体となった液体中の不揮発性の正極活物質が酸素と接触して酸化されることにより、再び元の酸化体の正極活物質に戻る請求項1,2,3又は4に記載の燃料電池。
