Description
Claims (14)
- 血流を動脈瘤嚢から遠ざけるよう進路変更させるステントにおいて、
細長のフレーム(2)であって、前記フレームを伸張させるプロセスで完全に半径方向に拡張した完全半径方向拡張状態から半径方向収縮状態に半径方向に収縮可能な、該フレーム(2)を備え、
前記完全半径方向拡張状態は、外力がフレーム(2)に加わらないとき体温でのフレーム(2)の状態を表すものとし、
前記半径方向収縮状態で前記フレーム(2)は、前記完全半径方向拡張状態における前記フレーム(2)の最大側方寸法よりも少なくとも30%小さい最大側方寸法を有し、
前記フレーム(2)は、前記動脈瘤嚢への開口部に配置される低気孔率領域(4)を有し、
前記低気孔率領域(4)は、前記フレーム(2)が前記完全半径方向拡張状態にあるとともに該低気孔率領域(4)が使用時に前記動脈瘤嚢への開口部に配置されるとき、血流を前記動脈瘤嚢から遠ざけるよう進路変更させる程度の気孔率を有するものとし、
前記フレーム(2)は、前記フレームの伸張を生ずる複数個の長手方向変形可能要素(12)と、前記フレーム(2)の半径方向収縮を生ずる複数個の周方向変形可能要素(14)とを有し、
1個又はそれ以上の長手方向変形可能要素(12)は、前記1個又はそれ以上の周方向変形可能要素(14)の形状に何らの変化も生ずることなく、伸張又は収縮できるものとし、
前記複数個の周方向変形可能要素(14)は、第1周方向変形可能要素(14)及び第2周方向変形可能要素(14)を有し、前記フレーム(12)が完全半径方向拡張状態にあるとき、前記第1周方向変形可能要素(14)の少なくとも一部は、周方向の一方の側、又は双方の側で、前記第2周方向変形可能要素(14)と長手方向に重複する、ステント。 - 請求項1記載のステントにおいて、前記完全半径方向拡張状態と前記半径方向収縮状態との間における前記フレーム(2)の伸張は少なくとも25%である、ステント。
- 請求項1又は2記載のステントにおいて、前記複数個の長手方向変形可能要素(12)は、互いに直接的又は間接的に連結し、長手方向に直列的に作用する長手方向変形要素(12)のセットを有し、随意に、
前記複数個の長手方向変形可能要素(12)は、互いに直列的に連結した前記長手方向変形可能要素(12)の前記セットを複数個有し、前記セットのそれぞれは、異なる周方向位置に配置し、かつ/又は、
前記直列的に配列した前記長手方向変形可能要素(12)の前記セットにおける少なくとも1つのセットの前記長手方向変形可能要素(12)は、互いに連結して、長手方向の周期的構体を形成する、ステント。 - 請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記長手方向変形可能要素(12)及び周方向変形可能要素(14)は、同一要素とした、ステント。
- 請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記複数個の周方向変形可能要素(14)は、前記複数個の長手方向変形可能要素(12)とは、異なるものとした、ステント。
- 請求項1〜5のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記第1及び第2の周方向変形可能要素(14)は、前記フレーム(2)の伸張の際に長手方向に一層離れるよう移動する、ステント。
- 請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記フレーム(2)は、前記フレーム(2)が半径方向収縮状態にあるとき、前記第1周方向変形可能要素(14)のいかなる部分も、周方向のいずれかの側で前記第2周方向変形可能要素(14)の何らかの部分と長手方向に重複することがないよう構成した、ステント。
- 請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記第1周方向変形可能要素(14)を直接的に第1長手方向変形可能要素(12)に連結し、また前記第2周方向変形可能要素(14)を直接的に第2長手方向変形可能要素(12)に連結し、前記第1長手方向変形可能要素(12)は、前記第2長手方向変形可能要素(12)とは異なる長手方向位置にあるものとした、ステント。
- 請求項8記載のステントにおいて、前記第1及び第2の長手方向変形可能要素(12)は、直列的に作用するよう互いに連結し、前記フレーム(2)の伸張により、前記第1及び第2の長手方向変形可能要素(12)相互間の分離距離、及びこれら長手方向変形可能要素に取付けた前記第1及び第2の周方向変形可能要素(14)相互間の分離距離を増大させる、ステント。
- 請求項1〜9記載のステントにおいて、前記複数個の周方向変形可能要素(14)は、直接的又は間接的に互いに連結し、周方向に直列的に作用するようにした周方向変形可能要素(14)のセットを有する、ステント。
- 請求項1〜10記載のステントにおいて、前記複数個の周方向変形可能要素(14)は、互いに直列的に作用するよう連結した前記周方向変形可能要素(14)の前記セットを複数個有し、前記セットのそれぞれは、異なる長手方向位置に配置した、ステント。
- 請求項10又は11記載のステントにおいて、前記直列的に配列した前記周方向変形可能要素(14)の前記セットにおける少なくとも1つのセットの前記周方向変形可能要素(14)は、互いに連結して、周方向の周期的構体を形成する、ステント。
- 請求項1〜12のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記長手方向変形可能要素(12)及び前記周方向変形可能要素(14)の変形は、前記完全拡張状態と前記半径方向収縮状態との間における全ての半径方向収縮度に対して、体温で弾性を示すものとした、ステント。
- 請求項1〜13のうちいずれか一項記載のステントにおいて、前記フレーム(2)は、中空チューブをレーザー切削することにより形成した、ステント。
