Description
最後に、有効浄化されないフィルターは使用寿命が短くなり、それら浄化不良フィルターを用いるシステムの効率を低下させ得る。
従って、フィルター、詳しくは、ディーゼル粒子フィルターと共に使用する改良された浄化システム及び方法に対する需要がある。
振動要素102、108は、ディーゼル粒子フィルター100、端部キャップ104、または灰収集ビン106の1つまたは1つ超に機械的に連結され得る。ある実施例では振動要素108が端部キャップ104または灰収集ビン106にボルト止めされ得、振動要素102が、ホースクランプ等のバンドクランプでディーゼル粒子フィルター100に固着され得る。
振動要素306及び310による振動印加により灰は分離して灰収集ビン302内に落下する。かくして空気由来の灰ダストは発生しない。
必要な電力も算出し得る。半サイクルでの変位量は50ミクロンのオーダーのものである。従って、システム駆動に要する電力は約400Wである。
各実施例及び説明は例示的なものであってこれに限定しようとするものではない。本発明の振動ベースの浄化システム及び方法を全タイプのディーゼル粒子フィルター、及び、そのための全タイプのフィルター(例えば、プリーツ付きフィルター、ペーパーフィルター、フィルターバッグ)に対し、その材料組成、形態あるいはデザインに関わらず等しく適用可能である。更に、ろ過残渣はフィルター内に堆積する、すす、あるいは灰、あるいは任意のその他物質であり得る。フィルターから除去したろ過残渣は、フィルターの各チャネルの端部位置でプラグ状に堆積し、フィルター表面上に層状に堆積し、あるいはフィルターの孔内に堆積し得る。

Claims (21)
- フィルター浄化システムであって、
ろ過残渣を含むフィルター要素と、
前記フィルター要素に機械的に連結され、前記ろ過残渣を砕くための振動要素と、
前記フィルター要素内の砕かれたろ過残渣を収集するためのろ過残渣収集システムと、
前記振動要素を前記フィルター要素の複数の位置の任意の位置に連結し得るように前記振動要素の前記フィルター要素への機械的連結の位置を調節する手段と、
を含むフィルター浄化システム。 - 前記振動要素に連結したコントローラーにして、前記振動要素を第1周波数で振動させて前記ろ過残渣を砕くためのコントローラーを更に含む請求項1に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
- 前記振動要素が、モーター、磁歪素子、圧電素子、空気圧素子、超音波素子、音響素子、からなる群から選択される請求項1に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
- 前記振動要素が、少なくとも2つの周波数で振動する形態を有する請求項1に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
- 前記コントローラーが、前記振動要素を第2周波数で振動させて前記砕かれたろ過残渣をフィルター要素から移動させる請求項2に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
- 前記フィルター要素内のろ過残渣量に関する情報を提供するプローブを更に含む請求項1に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
- 前記コントローラーに連結されたプローブを更に含み、前記プローブからの出力に基づき、前記コントローラーが第1周波数を第2周波数に移行させる請求項5に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
- フィルターからのろ過残渣浄化方法であって、
フィルター要素を強制振動させてフィルターからろ過残渣を脱離させるステップと、
前記フィルター要素における前記強制振動させる位置を、前記フィルター要素への振動要素の連結位置を調整することにより変更させるステップと、
脱離したろ過残渣をろ過残渣収集システム内に収集するステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記フィルター要素を強制振動させてフィルターからろ過残渣を脱離させるステップが、第1周波数及び第1振動出力を第1時間長において印加してろ過残渣を砕くステップを更に含む請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルター要素を強制振動させてフィルターからろ過残渣を脱離させるステップが、前記第1時間長の後、第2周波数及び第2振動出力を第2時間長において印加するステップを更に含む請求項9に記載の方法。
- 第1周波数が前記第2周波数未満である請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記第1周波数が60Hz未満であり、前記第2周波数が100Hzより大きい請求項10に記載の方法。
- 第1振動出力が前記第2振動出力未満である請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルター要素を強制振動させてフィルターからろ過残渣を脱離させるステップが、所定時間経過後に、または所定量のろ過残渣がフィルター要素から除去された後に停止される請求項8に記載の方法。
- 印加される強制振動を変更させるために、ろ過残渣の測定水準を使用する請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記フィルター要素を通して流動する流体を更に含み、前記流体により前記フィルター要素から前記ろ過残渣が除去される請求項1に記載のフィルター浄化システム。
