Description
Claims (20)
- ブレースパイプに対してブレーストパイプを締め金で固定するためのブレース組立体であって、
ケーブルと、
前記ブレースパイプを受け入れる開口部を形成する環状部と、前記ケーブルの第1部分を支持するケーブルストッパと、前記ブレーストパイプを支持するパイプ支持面と、を備える本体と、
前記ケーブルが前記第1部分と第2部分との間で張力を与えられるように、前記本体に対して前記ケーブルの第2部分を固定できるケーブルアンカーと、
前記ケーブルアンカーに対して前記ケーブルストッパを移動させて、前記ブレーストパイプの周りで前記ケーブルを緊張させ、かつ前記ブレーストパイプを前記パイプ支持面に押し付けて固定するように構成されたケーブル緊張配列体と、
を備える、ブレース組立体。 - 前記ケーブルストッパが前記環状部の第1側に在り、かつ前記ケーブルアンカーが前記環状部の前記第1側とは反対の第2側に在ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記パイプ支持面が前記環状部の前記第2側に在ることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記ケーブルストッパがフック構造体を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記フック構造体と前記本体が単一体の材料から形成されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記ケーブルアンカーが、前記本体の開口部を貫通するボルトを備え、前記ボルトが、前記ボルトの軸部を半径方向に貫通する1対のスロットを有し、前記ケーブルの端部が前記スロットの各々を通過して、前記ケーブルが、前記ボルトのヘッド部及び前記ボルトの前記軸部にねじ式に嵌められたナットによって前記本体に固定されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記ケーブル緊張配列体が、前記本体のねじ付き開口部に係合する締結具を備え、前記ねじ付き開口部が、前記本体の前記開口部に対して半径方向に延び、セットスクリューの端部が前記ブレースパイプに係合し、前記ケーブルを緊張させるように前記セットスクリューを締め付けて前記本体を前記ブレースパイプに直交する軸の周りで回転できることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記パイプ支持面が丸みを持ち、前記ブレーストパイプに平行のパイプ支持面軸の周りで半径を形成することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のブレース組立体。
- ブレースパイプに対してブレーストパイプを締め金で固定するためのブレース組立体であって、
第1部分と、第2部分と、前記第1部分と前記第2部分との間の中間部とを有するケーブルと、
開口部を通過するパイプ軸に沿って延びる前記ブレースパイプを受け入れる開口部を形成する環状部と、前記ケーブルの前記中間部を支持するケーブルストッパであって、前記パイプ軸の第1側に配置されるケーブルストッパと、前記ブレーストパイプを支持するパイプ支持面であって、前記パイプ軸の前記第1側とは反対の第2側に配置されるパイプ支持面と、を備える本体と、
軸部とヘッド部とを有する締結具と、前記締結具の前記軸部にねじ式に係合するナットとを備えるケーブルアンカーであって、前記締結具が、前記本体の締結具通路に受け入れられ、前記ヘッド部が前記ケーブルの前記第1部分を前記本体に押し付けて固定し、前記ナットが前記ケーブルの前記第2部分を前記本体に押し付けて固定する、ケーブルアンカーと、
ねじ付き軸部を有するテンションボルトであって、該テンションボルトが前記本体のねじ付きテンション通路に受け入れられ、前記テンション通路が前記パイプ軸に対して実質的に半径方向に延び、かつ前記本体の前記環状部からオフセットし、前記テンションボルトが前記テンション通路の中を前進すると、前記テンション通路の軸及び前記パイプ軸の両方に実質的に直交する調節軸の周りで前記本体が回転し、それによって前記ケーブルの前記中間部を緊張させ、前記テンションボルトの前進が同時に前記本体を前記ブレースパイプに固定する、テンションボルトと、
を備える、ブレース組立体。 - 前記ケーブルアンカーが前記パイプ軸の前記第2側に配置されることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記パイプ支持面が丸みを持ち、前記ブレーストパイプに平行のパイプ支持面軸の周りに半径を形成することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記ケーブルストッパがフック構造体を備えることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記フック構造体と前記本体が単一体の材料から形成されることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記ケーブルアンカーの前記締結具が、前記締結具の軸部を半径方向に貫通する1対の溝付き開口部を備え、前記1対の溝付き開口部の各々が前記ケーブルの前記第1部分及び前記第2部分のそれぞれ一方を受け入れることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記環状部の前記開口部が、第1直径を有するブレースパイプを受け入れるように構成され、前記本体が、さらに前記開口部に対して半径方向に延びる1対のねじ付き調節開口部を備え、前記ブレース組立体が、さらに、前記ブレース組立体が前記第1直径より小さい第2直径を有するブレースパイプに作用できるように、前記1対のねじ付き調節開口部に係合して前記開口部の中まで延びて前記開口部のサイズを効果的に縮小できる1対のセットスクリューを備えることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記ケーブルがプレストレッチ亜鉛メッキケーブルであることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- 前記パイプ支持面が、前記ブレーストパイプの軸に沿った方向に少なくとも約2.54cm延在することを特徴とする、請求項9に記載のブレース組立体。
- ブレーストパイプをブレースパイプに締め金で固定する方法であって、
前記ブレーストパイプの周りにケーブルを巻き付けるステップと、
クランプ本体に対して前記ケーブルの第1部分を固定するステップと、
前記ブレーストパイプを前記ケーブルの中間部と前記クランプ本体の間に置いた状態で、前記クランプ本体に対して前記ケーブルの第2部分を固定するステップと、
前記ブレースパイプを前記クランプ本体に係合するステップと、
前記ケーブルの第1部分及び第2部分の一方又は両方を移動させて前記ケーブルの前記中間部を緊張させるステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ケーブルを移動するステップが、前記ブレースパイプに対して前記クランプ本体を移動させることによって実現されることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の方法。
- さらに、前記クランプ本体を移動するステップと同時に前記クランプ本体を前記ブレースパイプに固定するステップを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
