Claims (5)
- 空気軸受領域に位置付けられ、かつデータ変換器から離された少なくとも1つの特徴を有するスライダを備え、
前記少なくとも1つの特徴は、空気軸受壁によって規定される周界内に連続的に曲線的な断面形状を有する増加する高さを含み、前記増加する高さは前記周界の全幅を横切っており、
前記空気軸受壁は、前記データ変換器に近位する側に閉じた形状を有するととともに、前記データ変換器に遠位する側に開口を有し、
前記増加する高さは、前記開口から前記空気軸受壁の前記データ変換器に近位する前記側に向かって増加する高さである、装置。 - 前記データ変換器は、データ変換器特徴上に位置する、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 空気軸受領域上にデータ変換器から離された少なくとも1つの特徴を有するスライダを設ける工程を備え、
前記少なくとも1つの特徴は、空気軸受壁によって規定される周界内に連続的に曲線的な断面形状を有する増加する高さを含み、前記増加する高さは前記周界の全幅を横切っており、
前記空気軸受壁は、前記データ変換器に近位する側に閉じた形状を有するととともに、前記データ変換器に遠位する側に開口を有し、
前記増加する高さは、前記開口から前記空気軸受壁の前記データ変換器に近位する前記側に向かって増加する高さである、方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの特徴が連続的に空気軸受上を浮上している間、及び、前記少なくとも1つの特徴がデータ記憶媒体との接触を維持する間、前記データ記憶媒体にデータを記録する工程をさらに備える、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記データ変換器は、データ変換器特徴上に位置する、請求項3または4に記載の方法。
