Description
以下、本発明の均等化装置について図1及び図2を参照して説明する。同図に示すように、均等化装置1は、組電池BHを構成する互いに直列接続された複数の単位電池C1〜C60の両端電圧を均等化する装置である。上記単位電池C1〜C60は、本実施形態では1つの二次電池から構成されているが、複数の二次電池から構成されていてもよい。
次に、第2実施形態の均等化装置1について説明する。第2実施形態の均等化装置1の構成は、第1実施形態で既に説明した図1に示す構成と同等であるため、ここでは詳細な説明を省略する。次に、第2実施形態の均等化装置1の動作について図5を参照して説明する。なお、上述した図4について説明した第1実施形態での動作と同等のステップについては、同一符号を付してその詳細な説明を省略する。

Claims (2)
- 互いに直列接続された複数の単位電池の両端電圧を均等化する均等化装置であって、前記単位電池の両端電圧を各々検出する電圧検出手段と、前記単位電池毎に設けられ、前記単位電池を放電する複数の放電抵抗と、前記単位電池を前記放電抵抗に接続して放電させる複数のスイッチと、前記スイッチを制御して前記単位電池の均等化を行う均等化手段と、を備えた均等化装置において、
前記均等化手段が、前記電圧検出手段により検出された両端電圧のうち最も小さい両端電圧を基準電圧とし、前記基準電圧と、前記電圧検出手段により検出された前記単位電池の両端電圧と、の差に応じて各単位電池の両端電圧の大きさを3以上に区分する区分手段と、
最も前記基準電圧に近い区分の前記単位電池は放電せず、他の区分の前記単位電池は、前記基準電圧から遠い区分ほど長く放電するように前記スイッチのオンオフを制御するスイッチ制御手段と、を有し、
前記スイッチ制御手段が、前記区分のうち最も前記基準電圧に近い区分以外の全ての単位電池に対して、前記単位電池を一定時間だけ放電させる一定時間放電を繰り返し、前記一定時間毎に前記基準電圧に近い区分の前記単位電池から順に放電を停止させる
ことを特徴とする均等化装置。 - 前記スイッチ制御手段が、前記区分のうち最も前記基準電圧に近い区分以外の全ての単位電池の放電を開始し、前記基準電圧に近い区分の前記単位電池から順に放電を停止させる
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の均等化装置。
