Description
Claims (19)
- プロセス流体の圧力を測定するためのプロセス変数伝送器において、
第1のプロセス圧力に結合するように構成された第1の入口と第2のプロセス圧力に結合するように構成された第2の入口と、
前記プロセス流体を分離する第1及び第2の隔離ダイヤフラムと前記第1および第2のプロセス圧力を差圧センサに転送する充填流体を運ぶ第1及び第2の隔離管を介して前記第1及び第2の入口に結合される前記差圧センサであって、前記第1のプロセス圧力と第2のプロセス圧力との間の差圧に関連する出力を提供する前記差圧センサと、
前記第1の入口に結合され前記第1のプロセス圧力に関連する出力を提供する第1の圧力センサであって、前記差圧センサの周波数応答とは異なる周波数応答を持ち、第1の直接結合通路を介してプロセス流体に直接結合している該第1の圧力センサと、
前記差圧センサからの出力に基づいて伝送器出力を提供し、さらに前記第1の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて増強された機能性(enhanced functionality)を提供するように構成された伝送器回路とを含む、プロセス変数伝送器。 - 前記第1の圧力センサ内に、その中に形成された空洞を有する脆弱材料を含み、前記第1の圧力センサからの出力は前記空洞の変形に関連している請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記伝送器は、前記第1の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて差圧を計算するように構成されている請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記第1の圧力センサは、前記差圧センサの周波数応答より大きな周波数応答を有する請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記増強された機能性が、詰まった隔離管を検出することを含む請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記第2の入口に結合された第2の圧力センサを含み、該第2の圧力センサは、前記差圧センサの周波数応答とは異なる周波数応答を持ち、第2の直接結合通路を介してプロセス流体に直接結合して、第2の圧力に関連する出力を提供する請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記増強された機能性が、前記第1及び第2の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて差圧センサを校正することを含む請求項6に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記増強された機能性が、前記第1及び第2の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて差圧センサの動作を診断することを含む請求項6に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- フランジを含み、該フランジは前記第1及び第2の入口の少なくとも一部を含み、さらに前記第1の圧力センサを前記第1の入口に結合する前記第1の直接結合通路を含む請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- 前記第1の入口と前記第1の圧力センサとの間の前記第1の直接結合通路を前記プロセス変数伝送器の本体内に含む請求項1に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
- プロセス変数伝送器内でプロセス流体の圧力を測定する方法であって、
プロセス流体と前記プロセス流体から充填流体を運ぶ第1の隔離管とを分離する第1の隔離ダイヤフラムを含む第1の通路を第1のプロセス圧力に結合することと、
プロセス流体と前記プロセス流体から充填流体を運ぶ第2の隔離管とを分離する第2の隔離ダイヤフラムを含む第2の通路を第2のプロセス圧力に結合することと、
前記第1及び第2の通路に結合されたプロセス変数伝送器内にある差圧センサを用いて前記第1のプロセス圧力と第2のプロセス圧力間の差圧を感知することと、
前記差圧センサの周波数応答とは異なる周波数応答を持ち、第1の直接結合通路を介して前記第1の通路内にある前記プロセス流体に直接結合された第1の圧力センサで前記第1のプロセス圧力を感知することと、
前記差圧センサにより感知された前記差圧に関連する伝送器出力を提供することと、
前記第1の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて前記プロセス変数伝送器に強化された機能性を提供することとからなる方法。 - 前記第1の圧力センサが、その中に形成された空洞を有する脆弱材料を含み、前記第1の圧力センサからの出力は前記空洞の変形に関連する請求項11に記載の方法。
- 第2の圧力を第2の圧力センサで感知し、前記第1及び第2の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて差圧を計算することを含み、前記第2の圧力センサは、前記差圧センサの周波数応答とは異なる周波数応答を持ち、第2の直接結合通路を介してプロセス流体に直接結合している請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記感知された第1のプロセス圧力に基づいて隔離管の詰まりを検出することを含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記感知された第1のプロセス圧力に基づいて前記差圧センサの動作を診断することを含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記感知された第1のプロセス圧力に基づいて前記差圧センサを校正することを含む請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び第2の通路はフランジの中に形成されている請求項11に記載の方法。
- プロセス流体の圧力を測定するためのプロセス変数伝送器において、
第1のプロセス圧力に結合するように構成された第1の隔離ダイヤフラムと第2のプロセス圧力に結合するように構成された第2の隔離ダイヤフラムと、
充填流体を通って前記第1及び第2の隔離ダイヤフラムに結合され、前記第1のプロセス圧力と第2のプロセス圧力との間の差圧に関連する出力を出力する差圧センサと、
前記差圧センサの周波数応答とは異なる周波数応答を持ち、第1の直接結合通路を介して前記プロセス流体に直接接続され、前記第1のプロセス圧力に関連する出力を提供する第1の圧力センサと、
前記差圧センサからの出力と前記第1の圧力センサからの出力に基づいて伝送器出力を提供するように構成された伝送器回路と、
前記第1のプロセス圧力を前記第1の隔離ダイヤフラムに結合する第1の入口と、前記第2のプロセス圧力を前記第2の隔離ダイヤフラムに結合する第2の入口とをもち、さらに前記第1の入口を前記第1の圧力センサに結合する前記第1の直接結合通路を含むフランジとを含む、プロセス変数伝送器。 - 前記フランジが、前記第2の入口を前記プロセス変数伝送器内に配置された第2の圧力センサに結合する第2の直接結合通路を含み、前記第2の圧力センサは、前記差圧センサの周波数応答とは異なる周波数応答を持ち、前記第2の直接結合通路を介してプロセス流体に直接結合している請求項18に記載のプロセス変数伝送器。
