Description
図1、図2は、本発明の一実施態様に係るエネルギー吸収部材1を示しており、とくに車両の前部におけるエンジンルーム内の前部に設けられる、前突等に備えてエネルギー吸収するためのエネルギー吸収部材1を示している。エネルギー吸収部材1は、側方から見て、前部側を頂辺側とする台形形状を有する箱形部材に構成されており、台形形状の底辺側となる後部側は後方に向けて開口されている。このエネルギー吸収部材1には、必要に応じて内部に他部品を収容することも可能に構成されており、図における符号2で示した開口部は、該他部品用のハーネス等のアクセスを行うための開口部2を示している。前突等の場合には前部側から加わる荷重が入力されることになるので、図の矢印A方向が荷重入力方向として設定されている。

Claims (8)
- 部材厚さ方向に複数の繊維強化樹脂層の積層構成を有し、該複数の繊維強化樹脂層として、少なくとも、一方向に引き揃えられた強化繊維と樹脂からなる複数の一方向材と、強化繊維織物と樹脂からなる複数のクロス材とを含むエネルギー吸収部材であって、前記一方向材は、それぞれ、クロス材とクロス材の間に挟まれて積層されているとともに、前記複数の一方向材の外部荷重入力方向における長さが、順次変更されており、かつ、部材厚さ方向の内層側に位置する一方向材の長さの方が外層側に位置する一方向材の長さよりも短く設定されていることを特徴とするエネルギー吸収部材。
- 前記複数の一方向材の強化繊維の引き揃え方向が、すべて、前記外部荷重入力方向に設定されている、請求項1に記載のエネルギー吸収部材。
- 前記複数の一方向材の強化繊維に、引張弾性率290GPa以上の炭素繊維が用いられている、請求項1または2に記載のエネルギー吸収部材。
- 前記複数の繊維強化樹脂層の積層構成のいずれかの部位に、コア材が介在されている、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のエネルギー吸収部材。
- 前記複数のクロス材として、前記外部荷重入力方向に対する強化繊維の配向角度が0度/90度の強化繊維織物を含むクロス材および±45度の強化繊維織物を含むクロス材が設けられている、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のエネルギー吸収部材。
- 前記部材厚さ方向に積層されている複数の繊維強化樹脂層の最外層と最内層としてクロス材が配置されている、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のエネルギー吸収部材。
- 前記最外層のクロス材の外側に、さらに意匠面形成用の繊維強化樹脂層が配置されている、請求項6に記載のエネルギー吸収部材。
- 部材厚さ方向に、少なくとも、一方向に引き揃えられた強化繊維と樹脂からなる複数の一方向材と、強化繊維織物と樹脂からなる複数のクロス材とを含む複数の繊維強化樹脂層を積層するエネルギー吸収部材の製造方法であって、前記複数の一方向材を、それぞれ、クロス材とクロス材の間に挟んで積層するとともに、前記複数の一方向材を、それらの外部荷重入力方向における長さを順次変更して積層し、かつ、部材厚さ方向の内層側に位置する一方向材の長さの方を外層側に位置する一方向材の長さよりも短く設定することを特徴とする、エネルギー吸収部材の製造方法。
