Description
図2は、本発明の第1の実施形態に係る電動車両を説明するための図である。図2(A)は右側面図を示し、右側の前輪21や後輪22が仮想線で示されている。また、図2(B)は図2(A)のB−B線矢視断面図を示し、後述するスプロケット21b,22b,31b,32bが仮想線で示されている。車台10の各側面12R,12Lには帯状のカバー18が設置され、車台10の前後方向に沿って延びている。カバー18の下側には、前輪21、31および後輪22、32をそれぞれ回転支持する車軸21a,31aおよび車軸22a、32aが設けられている。各車軸21a,31a,22a,32aは、動力伝達部材によって結合されない場合は、独立して回転可能となっている。
図3は、本発明の第2の実施形態に係る電動車両を説明するための図であり、図2(B)と同様に断面図を示している。第1の実施形態では、前輪21,31が駆動輪であり、後輪22,32が従動輪であったが、第2の実施形態では、後輪22,32が駆動輪となり、前輪21,31が従動輪となる。したがって、電動モータ41R,41L、ギアボックス43R,43Lは、車台10の後輪22,32側に配設される。また、前輪21,31の車軸31a,32aはそれぞれ軸受44R、44Lによって軸支される。
図4は、本発明の第3の実施形態に係る電動車両を説明するための図であり、図2(B)と同様に断面図を示している。第3の実施形態は、車輪の駆動機構の配置が第2の実施形態と同じであるが、収納スペース16が、底面15の中央位置から例えば前面13に亘って第2の実施形態よりも一層広範囲に設けられている。このため、大容量のバッテリ40を底面15の中央位置に設置することが可能となり、車台10の安定性を向上させることができる。また、第3の実施形態では、例えばバッテリ交換や充電などの作業が容易に実施できるように、底面15に対するバッテリ40を載置するためのスライドを許容するスライド許容域17をさらに有している。
上記第1から第3の実施形態では、電動モータ41R,41Lからの動力をギアボックス43R,43Lを介して駆動輪の車軸まで伝達し、ギアボックス43R,43Lによって、電動モータ41R,41Lからの動力をトルクや回転数、回転方向を変えることによって、電動車両1の加減速、方向転換、旋回を行うようにしていた。これに対して、第4の実施形態では、電動モータ41R,41Lからの動力は単に固定比(所定の一定比)のギアを介するのみで駆動輪の車軸まで伝達し、電動モータへの駆動電圧の大きさや周波数を変更することによって、左右の駆動軸の回転方向と速度を変更している。これにより、複雑な機械機構であるギアボックス(トランスミッション)を設ける必要がなく、単にギアを介するだけであるので、機械的な故障やメンテナンスの負担が軽減されるとともに、ギアボックスを不要としたことによる電動車両の軽量化を図ることができる。
上記第1から第3の実施形態では、前後一対の前輪および後輪をスプロケットとベルトによって連結し、電動モータからの動力が前後の車輪に伝わるように構成したが、それぞれの車輪(前輪21,31、後輪22,32)と車軸21a,31a,22a,32aとの結合部に、例えば、動力伝達部材として電磁クラッチを設けて、前輪21,31のみ、あるいは、後輪22,32のみを駆動したり、さらに、1つの車輪のみを駆動できるようにしてもよい。この場合、四輪の独立した回転制御が可能になり、電磁クラッチによって動力の伝達、遮断を高速で切換えることにより、凍結路面やぬかるみのような路面との摩擦係数が小さい状態であってもそれぞれの車輪の回転を制御することで安定した走行方向を保つことが可能となる。また、電磁クラッチに設けた回転ディスクを固定部材で保持することによってブレーキとして使用することも可能となる。
Claims (7)
- 車台と、該車台の左右にそれぞれ設けられた前後一対の駆動輪および従動輪と、左右の前記駆動輪をそれぞれ駆動する2つの電動モータと、各前記電動モータと各前記駆動輪との間に設けたギアボックスと、左右前記の駆動輪から従動輪に動力を伝達する動力伝達部材と、前記電動モータに電力を供給するバッテリとを備え、
2つの前記電動モータおよび前記ギアボックスは前記車台の底部面で前記駆動輪側に寄せて配設されるとともに、前記電動モータ、前記ギアボックス、および、前記駆動輪が直線状に配設され、
左右の前記従動輪の車軸の端部を支持する軸受が、前記車台上で左右に離れて配設され、
左右の前記従動輪の前記軸受の間の前記車台の底面部の空間を、前記バッテリを載置するための空間としたことを特徴とする電動車両。 - 前記バッテリは、前記車台の前記電動モータを配設した反対側から取り出すために、左右の前記従動輪の前記軸受の間の前記車台の底面部の空間でスライド可能に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記バッテリは、前記車台の前記底面部の中央位置に載置されていることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電動車両。
- 前記車台の左右にそれぞれ設けられた前記前後一対の駆動輪および従動輪は、それぞれが前記車台の外側で、該車台から外側に突出する車軸に軸支されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記動力伝達部材は前記車台の外側に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1から4のいずれか1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記ギアボックスに動力の伝達と切り離しが可能なクラッチを設けたことを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか1に記載の電動車両。
- 前記車台の左右にそれぞれ設けられた前記前後一対の駆動輪および従動論をそれぞれ同径で形成すると共に、前記前後一対の駆動輪と従動輪とを近接配置させたことを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか1に記載の電動車両。
