Description
Claims (14)
- エンジンブロック(2)及び排気ガスシステム(3)を備えるエンジンブロック構造(1)であり、前記排気ガスシステム(3)が、排気ガス流の流れる方向に見て、排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)、酸化触媒コンバータ(7)、尿素水溶液添加装置(9)、微粒子フィルタ(43)及びSCR触媒コンバータ(45)を連続して配置する形で具備しているエンジンブロック構造であって、
前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)、前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)、前記尿素水溶液添加装置(9)、前記微粒子フィルタ(43)及び前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)が一緒に、前記エンジンブロック(2)の面に沿って、前記エンジンブロックに配置されており、前記面は、前記エンジンブロック(2)のアウトプット側(15)に対して垂直に向けられており、前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)が、少なくとも実質的に排気マニホールド(25)の上方に配置されており、
前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)、前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)、前記尿素水溶液添加装置(9)、前記微粒子フィルタ(43)及び前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)は、前記排気ガス流が前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)の出口から前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)の出口までに、約180°の方向転換を少なくとも1回行うように互いに配置されており、
前記微粒子フィルタ(43)と前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)とが実質的に前記エンジンブロック(2)の長手方向に前後に並んで配置されていること、および
前記微粒子フィルタ(43)と前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)とが一緒に前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)のものとは別の1つの容器(11)内に配置されていることを特徴とする、エンジンブロック構造(1)。 - 前記微粒子フィルタ(43)が、インレットダクト及びアウトレットダクトを有し、少なくとも前記インレットダクトの壁はSCR触媒層を有していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)と前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)とがパイプライン(29)によって互いに接続されており、前記パイプラインが、実質的に前記エンジンブロック(2)の長手方向に通っており、排気ガスターボチャージャ出口から酸化触媒コンバータ入口までの前記排気ガスの流動長さが300mmよりも短いことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)と前記微粒子フィルタ(43)とがパイプライン(31)によって互いに接続されており、前記排気ガス流が、酸化触媒コンバータ出口から微粒子フィルタ入口までに、実質的に90°の方向転換を1回行うか、又は実質的に180°の方向転換を2回行うように互いに配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)と前記微粒子フィルタ(43)との間のパイプライン(31)が混合区間(33)を具備し、前記混合区間に沿って、前記尿素水溶液添加装置(9)が配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記混合区間(33)が、混合装置(35)を有していることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)が、実質的に前記排気マニホールド(25)の上方に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜6のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記微粒子フィルタ(43)と前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)とが、実質的に前記排気マニホールド(25)の下方に、及び少なくとも実質的にエンジンキャリア(27)の上方に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。

- 前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)が、前記エンジンブロック(2)の前記アウトプット側(15)の反対側よりも、前記エンジンブロック(2)の前記アウトプット側(15)により近く配置されており、前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)は、前記アウトプット側(15)よりも前記アウトプット側(15)の反対側により近く配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜9のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)と前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)とは、前記排気ガス流が排気ガスターボチャージャ出口から酸化触媒コンバータ入口までに、実質的に90°の方向転換を1回行うように互いに配置されており、前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)を通る前記排気ガスは、前記エンジンブロック(2)の長手方向に対して実質的に垂直に向いている方向に流れることを特徴とする、請求項1〜10のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)が、前記エンジンブロック(2)の前記アウトプット側(15)よりも、前記アウトプット側(15)の反対側により近く配置されており、前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)は、前記エンジンブロック(2)の前記アウトプット側(15)の反対側よりも前記アウトプット側(15)により近く配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜7のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)は前記混合区間(33)に対して、及び前記混合区間(33)は前記微粒子フィルタ(43)に対して、前記排気ガス流が酸化触媒コンバータ出口から前記混合区間(33)への入口までに、実質的に180°の方向転換を1回行い、前記排気ガス流は、前記混合区間(33)の出口から前記微粒子フィルタ(43)の入口までに、実質的に180°の方向転換を1回行うように配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項5又は6に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
- 前記微粒子フィルタ(43)と前記SCR触媒コンバータ(45)とが、実質的に前記排気ガスターボチャージャ(5)の下方に、また実質的に前記酸化触媒コンバータ(7)の下方に配置されていることを特徴とする、請求項1〜13のうちいずれか一項に記載のエンジンブロック構造(1)。
