Claims (5)
- 誘導コイルからの誘導加熱により金属を溶解する誘導加熱炉用坩堝であって、
金属を収容する耐火物からなる容器状の内側層と、
前記内側層の少なくとも側壁部を覆い、誘導加熱により発熱する発熱体からなる外側層と、
前記内側層と前記外側層との間の少なくとも一部分に介在する中間層と、を備え、
前記外側層は、円筒状に形成されており、
前記中間層は、カーボン層及びセラミック層からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つの層を含み、
前記カーボン層が、黒鉛シート及び黒鉛粉末からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つからなり、
前記セラミック層が、セラミック繊維を用いたシート材、セラミックシート及びセラミック粉末からなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1つからなり、
前記セラミック層に用いられるセラミック粉末は、アルミナ、シリカ、ジルコニア又は炭化ケイ素である誘導加熱炉用坩堝。 - 前記外側層が、高さ方向において、複数に分割されている請求項1に記載の誘導加熱炉用坩堝。
- 前記中間層が、前記黒鉛粉末からなる前記カーボン層又は前記セラミック粉末からなる前記セラミック層からなり、
前記中間層が、前記内側層と前記外側層とで密閉されている請求項1又は2に記載の誘導加熱炉用坩堝。 - 前記中間層は、炭素繊維を用いたシート材で前記セラミック繊維を用いたシート材からなる前記セラミック層を挟んだ構成のものである請求項1又は2に記載の誘導加熱炉用坩堝。
- 前記中間層は、前記内側層から順に、前記セラミック繊維を用いたシート材からなる前記セラミック層と、前記黒鉛シートからなる前記カーボン層とが少なくとも配置された構成のものである請求項1又は2に記載の誘導加熱炉用坩堝。
