Description
図1及び2を参照すると、本実施形態に係る空気マグネシウム電池10は、縦断方向Y及び横断方向Xと、それらに直交する厚さ方向Zとを有し、縦断方向Yにおいて互いに対向する第1及び第2面11,12と、厚さ方向Zにおいて互いに対向する第3及び第4面13,14と、横断方向Xにおいて互いに対向する第5面及び第6面15,16とを有する角状の本体17と、本体17に着脱可能に取り付けられる蓋体18とを含む。第1面11には、空気マグネシウム電池10が電気化学反応を生じたときに発生する水素ガスを外部に排出するための透孔19が形成される。
図5を参照すると、本実施態様においては、蓋体18は、円形の基端部50と、基端部50から延出する外周面に螺合部51を有する円筒状の挿入部52とを有する。蓋体18の基端部50には、その外面から突出する蓋体18を回転させて本体17に嵌着させるための摘持部54が配置されており、摘持部54の中央部に形成された開口には金属製の固定部材(螺子)55が挿通されている。固定部材55の一方端は挿入部52内に挿入されたアノード体21の端部に取り付けられている。第1電極板60は、摘持部54の中央部位に固定部材55を介して固定された固定部61と、固定部61から摘持部54の外周に沿って垂下し、かつ、基端部50の外面に沿ってその外周縁まで延びる垂下部62と、基端部50の外周縁に沿って内方へ折曲された第1端子63とを有する。

Claims (4)
- 縦断方向を有し、本体と、前記本体に固定されたカソード体と、前記本体に着脱可能に取り付けられる蓋体とを含む空気マグネシウム電池において、
前記蓋体は、締結時において前記本体と接する下端部と、前記本体の内部に挿入されるアノード体と、前記アノード体の端部に連結された金属製の電極板とを有し、前記電極板は、少なくとも前記下端部に位置する第1端子を有し、
前記本体は、前記蓋体の締結時において前記蓋体の前記下端部と当接する面に位置する第2端子を有し、
前記第1端子と前記第2端子とが接することによって電気的に導通され、
前記電極板は、固定部材を介して前記蓋体の外面に固定された固定部と、前記固定部から前記外面の外方へ向かって延び、かつ、前記蓋体の外周面に沿って前記下端部へ向かって延びる垂下部と、前記垂下部から内方へ折曲して前記蓋体の前記下端部の一部を覆う前記第1端子とを有することを特徴とする空気マグネシウム電池。 - 前記蓋体はその内周面に螺旋部を有し、前記本体は前記蓋体が嵌着される円筒部を有し、前記第2端子は、少なくとも前記円筒部の基端縁の一部の外方に位置する請求項1に記載の空気マグネシウム電池。
- 前記第2端子は、前記本体の内部に延びる内周壁に設けられた螺旋部の上端に位置する舌片状を有し、前記蓋体と前記本体との締結状態において前記第1端子が前記第2端子に接する請求項1に記載の空気マグネシウム電池。
- 前記電極板は、前記縦断方向において弾性を有する請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の空気マグネシウム電池。
