Description
原料である原油を常圧蒸留して分留されるナフサ留分(主に沸点が30〜230℃の留分)を得る。次いで、これを必要に応じて水素化精製装置で水素化脱硫処理を行った後、常圧蒸留で軽質ナフサ留分(主に沸点30〜90℃の留分)と重質ナフサ留分(主に沸点80〜180℃の留分)に分留する。なお、この水素化脱硫処理は、常圧蒸留で軽質ナフサ留分と重質ナフサに分留した後に、水素化精製装置にかけてもよい。
前記のライトリフォーメートを溶剤として、原油を常圧蒸留して得られる常圧蒸留残油、並びに原油を常圧蒸留及び減圧蒸留して得られる減圧蒸留残油から選ばれる少なくとも1種を含む残油を抽出処理しSDAピッチを得る。この抽出処理の際、溶剤抽出装置のミキサーなどの混合装置によって、前記の残油と溶剤とは混合され、この溶剤の臨界圧力以上、臨界温度以下の一定の条件に保たれている溶剤抽出装置のアスファルテン分離槽に供給される。このアスファルテン分離槽内では、残油に含まれるアスファルトが沈殿する。沈殿物は、アスファルテン分離槽の底部から連続的に抜出され、ストリッパーによってわずかに含まれる溶剤が除去されて、溶剤脱れきピッチとされる。なお、アスファルテン分離槽の上部から抜き出された油は、脱れき油として利用される。
プロパンを主成分とする溶剤を用い、原油を常圧蒸留及び減圧蒸留して得られる減圧蒸留残油を抽出処理し、PDAピッチを得る。
成型炭のバインダー効果を支配する一つ目の要因は、成型炭を構成する石炭粒子間への分散性である。より均一に分散することで石炭粒子同士がバインダーを介し接着する点数が増加する。石炭との混練時におけるバインダーの粘度が低いほど分散性は高くなるため、ロードタールの代替バインダーとしては粘度が著しく上昇しない性状のものを選択する必要がある。
Claims (2)
- コークス製造用の石炭と、成型性維持のためのバインダーとを混練してから成型することにより成型炭を製造する際に、前記バインダーであるロードタールを、その軟化点から前記ロードタールの軟化点を減じた軟化点差がプラス30℃以下であって、軟化点が60℃以下となる溶剤脱れきアスファルトにより4%以上100%以下の質量割合で代替することを特徴とする成型炭の製造方法。
- 前記石炭と前記バインダーとは60〜100℃で混練される請求項1に記載された成型
炭の製造方法。
