Description

The present invention relates to a knitting yarn unwinding prevention method for processing a knitting yarn surplus portion that is expressed by switching a knitting yarn during knitting of a knitted fabric when a knitted fabric is knitted using a flat knitting machine.

In a knitted fabric having a border pattern or an intarsia pattern, the knitting yarn is switched during the knitting of the knitted fabric. At the part where the knitting yarn is switched, there are a yarn take-out portion for drawing out the knitting yarn from a knitted fabric portion knitted with the knitting yarn before switching, and a knitting yarn after switching to the knitted fabric portion knitted with the knitting yarn before switching. It is necessary to prevent the knitting yarn from being unwound at the yarn insertion portion and the yarn output portion. The present applicant has proposed a knitting yarn unclamping method that causes the flat knitting machine to perform the unclamping (see, for example, Patent Document 1).

Patent Document 1 discloses that when knitting yarn is switched (yarn insertion or yarn extraction), the knitting is performed by tack knitting in a direction from the knitted fabric side end toward the knitted fabric inner side.

Japanese Patent No. 3839496

Although the technology of Patent Document 1 can perform the unwinding process efficiently with a simple process, depending on the type of knitting yarn (material, thickness, etc.), the unblocking is not sufficient, and the knitting yarn may be unwound or knitted. There is a risk of bleeding on the ground. Increasing the number of tacks increases the effect of unwinding, but depending on the type of knitting yarn, the stitch may not be cleared from the knitting needle during the next knitting.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and one of its purposes is to provide a method for preventing unraveling of a knitting yarn that exhibits a sufficient unwinding effect in a simple process without using tack knitting. is there.

The method for preventing unraveling of a knitting yarn of the present invention comprises at least a pair of front and back needle beds, a first yarn feeder and a second yarn feeder for feeding knitting yarn to the needle beds, and stitches between the front and rear needle beds. Using a flat knitting machine capable of transferring, a first knitting yarn fed from the first yarn feeder and a second knitting yarn fed from the second yarn feeder during knitting of the knitted fabric The surplus end portion of the knitting yarn that appears by switching is processed. In the target needle bed to be knitted, when the knitting direction along the course direction of the knitted fabric is the traveling direction and the direction opposite to the traveling direction is the backward direction, the following steps α to γ are provided.
[Step α] When the base knitted fabric portion is knitted with the second knitting yarn, a part of the base knitted fabric portion is transferred to the needle bed facing the target needle bed, and the first yarn feeder To move the surplus end portion of the first knitting yarn between the target needle bed and the transferred stitch, and then return the transferred stitch to its original position.
[Step β] A new stitch is knitted in the advancing direction using the second knitting yarn with respect to the stitch including the stitch transferred back in the step α.
[Step γ] The following step γ1 and the following step γ1 are performed so that the knitting yarn surplus portion in the vicinity of the first yarn feeder and the transition yarn connecting the second yarn feeder to the base knitted fabric portion of the second knitting yarn are not entangled. Step γ2 is performed, and the surplus end portion of the knitting yarn is crossed with a sinker loop formed by the stitch transferred back and the stitch not transferred back adjacent to the stitch.
(Step γ1)... The second yarn feeder that feeds the second knitting yarn knitted in the step β is moved in the reverse direction.
(Step .gamma.2) ... step by transferring to the needle bed to target needle bed facing the new stitch knitted against stitches were transferred back in step α of new stitch knitted with beta, knitting yarn excess in step α After the first yarn feeder moved when feeding the end portion is moved in the direction opposite to the moving direction, the transferred new stitch is restored.

As one form of the method for preventing unraveling of the knitting yarn of the present invention, there may be mentioned a form in which step γ2 is performed after step γ1 in step γ.

As one form of the method for preventing unraveling of the knitting yarn of the present invention, there is a form in which the knitting by the steps α to γ is repeated while shifting the stitch transferred back in the step α in the traveling direction. At this time, after the step β is knitted with a new stitch with respect to the stitch that is positioned in the reverse direction than the stitch that is transferred back in the step α, the new stitch is subsequently added to the stitch transferred back in the step α. Knitting special stitches.

According to the method for preventing unraveling of the knitting yarn of the present invention, the knitting yarn surplus end can be fixed by the sinker loop by crossing the knitting yarn surplus end with the sinker loop of the stitch in the base knitted fabric portion. The end portion can be sufficiently released by a simple process. Further, since tack knitting is not used, bleeding does not occur regardless of the type of knitting yarn, and loosening of the knitting yarn hardly occurs. Therefore, the degree of freedom in selecting the type (material, thickness, etc.) of the first knitting yarn and the second knitting yarn is high.

Depending on the positional relationship between the first yarn feeder and the second yarn feeder, the knitting yarns crossing from the yarn feeders to the knitted fabric may cross each other as the yarn feeders move. When knitting is performed in this intersecting state, the first knitting yarn (knitting yarn surplus portion) is entangled with the base knitted fabric portion by the second knitting yarn, and the knitted fabric looks unpleasant. According to the method for preventing unraveling of the knitting yarn of the present invention, in step γ, by performing step γ2 after step γ1, regardless of the positional relationship between the first yarn feeder and the second yarn feeder, Each knitting yarn across the knitted fabric does not get tangled. Therefore, since it is not necessary to consider the positional relationship between the yarn feeders, it is easy to create knitting data for the knitted fabric.

By repeating the knitting to be transferred back in step α while shifting in the advancing direction, the knitting yarn surplus end can be released a plurality of times in the course direction, and the effect of the unclamping increases. Since unwinding is performed with respect to the sinker loop along the course direction, when viewed from the front side of the knitted fabric, the knitting yarn surplus portion where the unwinding is performed is not conspicuous.

FIG. 3 is a knitting process diagram according to the method for preventing unraveling of the knitting yarn shown in the first embodiment. FIG. 3 is a loop diagram showing a state in which a knitting yarn surplus end portion knitted using the knitting yarn release prevention method shown in Embodiment 1 is released.

Hereinafter, based on FIG. 1, a method for preventing knitting of a knitting yarn according to the present invention will be described with reference to an example of a portion where a knitting yarn is switched in a border pattern. The knitting described in the embodiment includes a pair of needle beds that extend in the left-right direction and are opposed to each other in the front-rear direction. The stitches can be transferred between the front and back needle beds, and at least one of the needle beds is provided. A rackable two-bed flat knitting machine was used. A four-bed flat knitting machine may be used.

<Embodiment 1>
FIG. 1 is a knitting process diagram according to the knitting yarn release prevention method shown in the first embodiment. The lower knitted fabric portion (here, the base knitted fabric portion) is knitted by the second knitting yarn 60 fed from the second yarn feeder 6 represented by ▽. During the knitting of the base knitted fabric portion, the first knitting yarn 40 (knitting yarn of a different color or type from the yarn feeder 6) fed from the first yarn feeder 4 represented by ▼ is introduced (yarn insertion) ) To change the knitting yarn and knitting the upper knitted fabric portion to form a knitted fabric with a border pattern. An example of the knitting procedure for preventing the unraveling of the first knitting yarn 40 with respect to the knitting yarn surplus end portion 41 that occurs when the knitting yarn is switched will be described. The first column “S + number” on the left side of FIG. 1 is the number of the knitting process, the second column is the knitting state of the needle bed in each knitting process, and the third column “ "With knitting)" indicates the moving direction of the yarn feeder. The black dots of A to J in the second column indicate knitting needles, ● marks indicate knit stitches, and ○ marks indicate old stitches that are locked to the knitting needles. The explanation of the relative racking operation of the front needle bed (hereinafter referred to as FB) and the rear needle bed (hereinafter referred to as BB) performed when the stitches are moved is omitted, and the number of stitches shown is more than the actual knitting. Less.

In the knitting process of the present embodiment, when the knitting progresses substantially counterclockwise and the knitting yarn surplus portion 41 is released from the FB (target needle bed), the course direction of the knitted fabric in the FB The knitting direction (right direction in FIG. 1) along the direction is the traveling direction, and the direction opposite to the traveling direction (left direction in FIG. 1) is the backward direction. Further, the first yarn feeder 4 is located on the front side and the second yarn feeder 6 is located on the rear side as viewed from the FB.

S0 in FIG. 1 shows a state in which after knitting one of the stripes of the border pattern using the second yarn feeder 6, subsequently, another stripe of the border pattern is knitted using the first yarn feeder 4. Show. The base knitted fabric portion knitted with the second knitting yarn 60 is knitted into a cylindrical shape with the knitting needle A of the FB as the beginning of knitting, and is knitted up to the knitting needle C of the FB. In other words, the stitch row by the stitches locked to the knitting needles A and C of the FB is higher in the one-step wale direction than the stitch row by the stitches locked to the knitting needles E to I of the FB and the knitting needles B to J of the BB. The first yarn feeder 4 is in a resting state.

In the following knitting process, only the stitches locked by the knitting needles are shown, and the part where the knitting operation is actually performed is indicated by a bold line.

[Step α: S1 to S3]
By performing S <b> 1 to S <b> 3, the outer end of the knitting yarn 41 is once passed outside the stitch by the second knitting yarn 60. In S1, the stitches locked to the knitting needles E of the FB are transferred to the knitting needles E of the BB. In S2, the first yarn feeder 4 is moved in the advancing direction to pass the position of the knitting needle E of the FB, and the first knitting yarn 40 (knitting yarn surplus portion 41) fed from the first yarn feeder 4 is targeted. Yarn is fed between the needle bed FB and the stitch transferred at S1. In S3, the stitch transferred to the knitting needle E of BB in S1 is returned to the knitting needle E of FB. Through the above-described steps, the knitting yarn surplus portion 41 is pressed by the sinker loop between the knitting needles CE and the knitting needles EG of the FB. Here, a single stitch is transferred back, but a plurality of stitches may be transferred back.

[Step β: S4]
In S4, a new stitch is knitted in the advancing direction using the second knitting yarn 60 with respect to the stitch locked to the knitting needle E of the FB transferred back in the step α. By knitting this new stitch, the state in which the knitting yarn surplus portion 41 intersects the sinker loop between the knitting needles CE of the FB is fixed. That is, even if the stitches locked on the knitting needles E of the FB are transferred in this state, the knitting yarn surplus end portion 41 does not come off the sinker loop between the knitting needles CE of the FB.

[Step γ: S5 to S8]
In S5, the second yarn feeder 6 that feeds the second knitting yarn 60 knitted in S4 is moved in the reverse direction (step γ1). Depending on the positional relationship between the first yarn feeder 4 and the second yarn feeder 6, the knitting yarns 40, 60 from the yarn feeders 4, 6 to the knitted fabric intersect with each other as the yarn feeders 4, 6 move. By performing the knitting in this intersecting state, the first knitting yarn 40 is entangled with the base knitted fabric portion by the second knitting yarn 60. Because of the relationship with the movement of the first yarn feeder 4 in the backward direction in the step γ2 described later, the second yarn feeder 6 is moved in the backward direction before the movement of the first yarn feeder 4, so that each feed Regardless of the positional relationship before and after the yarn mouths 4 and 6, the knitting yarns 40 and 60 from the yarn feeders 4 and 6 to the knitted fabric are not entangled.

By performing S6 to S8, the knitting yarn excess end portion 41 intersects the sinker loop 61 formed by the stitches locked to the knitting needle E of the FB and the stitches locked to the knitting needle C of the FB (step γ2 ). In S6, the stitches locked to the knitting needles E of the FB knitted in S4 ( new stitches knitted with respect to the stitches moved back in S1 to S3 ) are transferred to the knitting needles E of the BB. In S7, the first yarn feeder 4 moved in S2 is moved in the reverse direction. At this time, the knitting yarn surplus portion 41 intersects the sinker loop 61. In S8, the stitch transferred to the knitting needle E of BB in S6 is returned to the knitting needle E of FB.

By performing the step γ2 after the step γ1, the knitting yarn excess end portion 41 can intersect the sinker loop 61 regardless of the positional relationship of the front and rear of the first yarn feeder 4 and the second yarn feeder 6, and The base knitting by the second knitting yarn 60 continues without the knitting yarn surplus portion 41 in the vicinity of the one yarn feeder 4 and the transition yarn connected from the second yarn feeder 6 to the base knitted fabric portion out of the second knitting yarn 60. The ground can be organized.

FIG. 2 is a loop diagram showing a state in which the knitting yarn surplus end portion 41 knitted using the above-described knitting yarn unwinding prevention method is released. The upper C, E, G, and I in FIG. 2 correspond to the knitting needles shown in FIG. The area indicated by the turn A in FIG. 2 is the surplus end of the knitting yarn in the sinker loop 61 formed by the stitches locked to the knitting needle C of the FB and the stitches locked to the knitting needle E by S2 to S8 described above. In this state, the parts 41 intersect.

In the region indicated by turn A ′ in FIG. 2, following S8 in FIG. 1, the knitting yarn surplus end portion 41 is further prevented from being released from the stitches locked to the knitting needles G and I of the FB. (Not shown in the knitting process diagram). First, in the step α, the stitches locked to the knitting needles I of the FB are transferred to the knitting needles of the BB, the first yarn feeder 4 is moved in the traveling direction, and the positions of the knitting needles G and I of the FB are passed. The yarn surplus end portion 41 is fed inside the stitch locked to the knitting needle G of the FB and between the FB and the transferred stitch, and the transferred stitch is returned to the knitting needle I of the FB. Next, in the process β, a second knitting yarn 60 is used for the non-transferred stitch locked to the knitting needle G of the FB and the transferred stitch locked to the knitting needle I of the FB. Knitting smooth stitches in the direction of travel. Then, the process γ is γ2 and γ2 for the stitches locked to the knitting needle I of the FB (new stitches knitted with respect to the stitches transferred back in the step α among the new stitches knitted in the step β) . And do. By knitting the stitches locked to the knitting needles G and I of the FB, the knitting yarn surplus portion 41 intersects the sinker loop 61 of the second knitting yarn 60 as shown in the area indicated by the turn A ′ in FIG. In addition, the effect of preventing unraveling can be improved by alternately passing through the front and back of the stitches newly knitted in the step β (the front side on the back side of the paper). By repeating the knitting by the steps α to γ while shifting the stitches to be transferred back in the step α in the advancing direction, the effect of unraveling can be further improved. The stitches to be transferred back (corresponding to the stitches locked to the knitting needles E and I of the FB in FIG. 1) may be one or more stitches. The stitches not moved back (corresponding to the stitches formed on the knitting needles C and G of the FB in FIG. 1) positioned in the reverse direction than the stitches moved back in the step α may be one or more stitches.

The above-described method of preventing knitting of the knitting yarn is performed by a knitting yarn surplus expressed by another knitting yarn (first knitting yarn 40 for knitting the upper knitted fabric portion) threaded into the lower knitted fabric portion (base knitted fabric portion). Although the example of processing the end portion has been described, the processing can also be performed on the excess end portion of the knitting yarn that appears when the knitting yarn of the lower knitted fabric portion that has been knitted is pulled out (threaded out). Specifically, in the middle of the knitting of the upper knitted fabric portion (the base knitted fabric portion to be knitted next), the above-described method for preventing unwinding is used to thread the upper knitted fabric portion into a sinker loop made of knitting yarn. The knitting yarn surplus portions are crossed and fixed, and the knitting yarn surplus portions are pulled out of the knitted fabric. This also applies to Embodiment 2 and Embodiment 3 described later.

In the method for preventing unraveling of the knitting yarn according to this embodiment, the positional relationship before and after the first yarn feeder and the second yarn feeder is not limited as viewed from the target needle bed.

<Embodiment 2>
In the first embodiment, in the step γ, the step γ1 is followed by the step γ2 to perform knitting (S5, S6 to S8 in FIG. 1). On the other hand, knitting can also be performed by performing step γ1 after step γ2. In this case, the first yarn feeder is located on the front side as viewed from the target needle bed to be unlocked, and the second yarn feeder is limited to be located on the rear side as seen from the target needle bed. The second embodiment is different from the first embodiment only in the order in which the process γ1 and the process γ2 are performed, and the order of other processes and the organization content of each process are the same as those in the first embodiment.

<Embodiment 3>
In the first embodiment, the stitches to be transferred back in step α are repeatedly knitted while shifting in the advancing direction. On the other hand, knitting is performed along the course direction of the knitted fabric, but unraveling can be performed along the wale direction. In the first embodiment, after the surplus knitting yarn end portion 41 intersects the sinker loop 61 between the knitting needles CE of the FB, in the third embodiment, the knitting described below is performed. First, knitting is performed in the course direction in the order of the knitting needles G and I of the FB, the knitting needles J, H, F, D, and B of the BB, and the knitting needle A of the FB. Next, the stitches locked to the knitting needles C of the FB are transferred to the knitting needles C of the BB, the yarn is transferred to the front side of the stitches where the surplus ends of the knitting yarns are transferred, and then the transferred stitches are returned to the original. A new stitch is knitted on the transferred stitch. Thereafter, knitting is performed in the course direction in the order of the knitting needles G and I of the FB, the knitting needles J, H, F, D, and B of the BB, and the knitting needles A and C of the FB. Then, the same unlocking method as in the first embodiment is performed. When unwinding along the wale direction, steps α to γ are performed on the stitches locked to the knitting needle E of the FB, and steps α and β are performed on the stitches of the knitting needle C of the FB in the wale direction. It may be repeated along the line.
