が存在していてもよい。

及び通常量の清澄剤、とりわけ、
Cl− 0%〜3%及び/又は
F− 0%〜0.6%
が存在していてもよい。
TiO2 0.05%〜0.4%
MoO3 0.025%〜0.3%
V2O5 0.001%〜0.01%
により、良好なソラリゼーション耐性が達成され、UV端の既定位置を確立することが可能となる。

- SiO2 65%〜85%
B2O3 7%〜20%
Al2O3 0%〜7%
Li2O 0%〜2%
Na2O 0%〜8%
K2O 0%〜12%
BaO 0%〜5%
CaO 0%〜2%
MgO 0%〜2%
ZnO 0%〜2%
(酸化物に基づく重量%)を含有し、ソラリゼーションに対する高い耐性及び既定位置のUV端を有するホウケイ酸ガラスであって、
下記各成分組合せ:
TiO2 0.05%〜0.4%
MoO3 0.025%〜0.3%
V2O5 0.001%〜0.01%
を含むことを特徴とするホウケイ酸ガラス。 - SiO2 73%〜77.5%
B2O3 13.5%〜17.5%
Al2O3 1.3%〜3.3%
アルカリ金属酸化物の総和 4.5%以上かつ6.5%未満
アルカリ土類金属酸化物の総和 0%〜3%
及び、清澄剤として、
Cl− 0%〜0.3%
F− 0%〜0.6%
を含有する請求項1に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。 - 0.2%のTiO2を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- 0.1%のMoO3を含む請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- 0.003%のV2O5を含む請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- 前記アルカリ金属酸化物の含有量が5%〜6%である請求項2〜5のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- 前記アルカリ金属酸化物物質が、Na2O及びK2Oのみで構成される請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- 0.5%〜2.0%の割合のアルカリ土類金属酸化物を含有する請求項2〜7のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- 清澄剤として、Cl−の割合が0.1%〜0.2%である塩素を含有する請求項2〜8のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- SiO2 75.35%
B2O3 15.5%
Al2O3 2.3%
Na2O 3.9%
K2O 1.5%
CaO 0.6%
MgO 0.4%
TiO2 0.20%
MoO3 0.1%
V2O5 0.003%
Cl− 0.15%
を含有する請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。 - 5%の透過率が280nm〜285nmの波長範囲内に存在し、38.5%の透過率が301nm〜304nmの範囲内において存在し、かつ72%の透過率が319.5nm〜327.5nmの範囲内において存在する請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のホウケイ酸ガラス。
- ガラス管の製造又はランプの製造における請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のガラスの使用。
- 照射ユニットにおけるトップガラス又はフロントペイン又はシェルチューブとしての、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のガラスの使用。
