Claims (10)
- ガスが流入する流入口(30)と、
その流入口から流入したガスが流出する流出口(31)と、
前記流入口と流出口との間の空間に間隔を置いて配置された少なくとも1対の電極(60、60'、61、61')と、
その1対の電極の間の空間内に、一方の電極から他方の電極へ向かう方向に平行な断面において、相対的に誘電率が高い誘電体からなる第1誘電体部(5、5')と、相対的に誘電率が低い誘電体からなる第2誘電体部(3、3'、4、4')と、をその第1誘電体部と第2誘電体部とがともに2つ以上の領域となるように交互に備えた誘電体部(3、3'、4、4'、5、5')と、
前記1対の電極の間の空間における前記誘電体部が配置されていない領域であり、かつガスが流通する領域であるガス流通部(7)と、
を備え、
前記第1誘電体部は粒状に形成され、前記第2誘電体部は板状あるいは筒状に形成され、
前記断面で複数の前記第2誘電体部が間隔を置いて配置され、隣り合う前記第2誘電体部の間に単層の前記第1誘電体部が配置されることを特徴とするガス改質装置。 - 一方の電極から他方の電極へ向かう方向に平行な断面において、前記第1誘電体部と第2誘電体部とは層状に配置された請求項1に記載のガス改質装置。
- 一方の電極から他方の電極へ向かう方向に平行な断面において、前記ガス流通部が層状に配置された請求項1又は2に記載のガス改質装置。
- 前記第1誘電体部の誘電率は50以上であり、前記第2誘電体部の誘電率は50未満である請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のガス改質装置。
- 前記第1誘電体部の誘電体はチタン酸バリウムである請求項4に記載のガス改質装置。
- 前記第2誘電体部の誘電体はアルミナである請求項4又は5に記載のガス改質装置。
- 前記少なくとも1対の電極は2対以上の電極を含み、個々の対となる電極の間に前記誘電体部と前記ガス流通部とが備えられた請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のガス改質装置。
- 前記第1誘電体部と第2誘電体部の少なくとも一方に、ガス改質能力を向上する触媒が担持された請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載のガス改質装置。
- 請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のガス改質装置と、
そのガス改質装置の下流に備えられて、ガス改質装置によって改質された還元剤を含むガスが流入してNOxが還元されるNOx触媒と、
を備えた排気浄化システム。 - 請求項1乃至8のいずれか1項に記載のガス改質装置と、
そのガス改質装置の下流に備えられて、ガス改質装置によって改質された酸化剤を含むガスが流入して、堆積した粒子状物質が酸化されるフィルタと、
を備えた排気浄化システム。
