Description
ここでいう真密度比は、以下に示す計算式で示される。
真密度比=(焼結体からなる機械部品全体の密度/真密度)×100[%]
なお、上式における“真密度”とは、溶製材のように素材内部に空孔が存在しない材料の理論密度を意味する。また、上式における“焼結体からなる機械部品全体の密度”は、例えばJIS Z2501に規定された方法により測定される。

Claims (7)
- 真密度比が97%以上100%未満の焼結体からなる機械部品を製造するための方法であって、
モリブデンを含む鉄系合金粉末を主原料とし、これに0.1〜0.8質量%の炭素粉末を配合した原料粉末を成形金型で圧縮成形することにより、圧粉体を得る圧縮成形工程と、
圧粉体を鉄系合金粉末の焼結温度以上で加熱して焼結体を得る焼結工程と、
焼結体に熱処理を施して硬化層を形成する熱処理工程と、を備え、
前記圧縮成形工程では、前記成形金型のうち、前記原料粉末が充填されるキャビティの画成面に固体潤滑剤を固体のまま付着させ、その後、前記成形金型を前記固体潤滑剤の融点以上に加熱した状態で前記キャビティに充填した前記原料粉末を圧縮成形することを特徴とする機械部品の製造方法。 - 前記原料粉末として、固体潤滑剤が添加されたものを使用する請求項1に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 前記キャビティの画成面に付着させる固体潤滑剤と、前記原料粉末に添加する固体潤滑剤とが同種である請求項2に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 焼結工程と熱処理工程との間に、焼結体に塑性加工を施す塑性加工工程を設けた請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 前記塑性加工が転造加工である請求項4に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 前記原料粉末として、マンガンを含まないものを使用する請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
- 前記熱処理工程では、前記熱処理として、焼結体に対する焼入れおよび焼入れ後の焼戻しを実行する請求項1〜6の何れか一項に記載の機械部品の製造方法。
