Claims (5)
- 緩衝器と、上記緩衝器を常に伸長方向に附勢するエアばねとを備え、上記エアばねが、上記緩衝器の伸縮に伴い容積が拡大、縮小するエア室に圧縮されながら封入された気体からなる懸架装置において、
上記緩衝器の圧縮量が所定量以上となったとき、上記緩衝器の圧縮量が増加するほど、それに伴って上記エア室の容積を徐々に拡大させていく容積拡大手段を備えていることを特徴とする懸架装置。 - 上記容積拡大手段は、サブシリンダと、上記サブシリンダ内に形成される補助室と、上記サブシリンダの内周面に摺接し上記エア室と上記補助室とを区画する可動隔壁とを備え、
上記可動隔壁は、上記緩衝器の圧縮量が所定量以上となったとき、補助室側に移動するとともに、この移動量は、上記緩衝器の圧縮量の増加に応じて大きくなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の懸架装置。 - 上記容積拡大手段は、上記可動隔壁をエア室側に附勢する附勢手段と、上記緩衝器の圧縮量が所定量に満たないとき上記可動隔壁がエア室側に移動することを防止するストッパとを備えていることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の懸架装置。
- 上記附勢手段は、上記補助室内に圧縮されながら封入された気体からなることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の懸架装置。
- 上記緩衝器は、アウターチューブと上記アウターチューブ内に出没可能に挿入されるインナーチューブとからなる緩衝器本体を備え、上記緩衝器本体内に上記サブシリンダが収容されるとともに、上記緩衝器本体内に上記エア室が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項2から請求項4の何れか一項に記載の懸架装置。
