Description
以下、図面を適宜参照して、この発明の第1実施例である画像読取装置100について説明する。図1は、画像読取装置100を備える画像形成装置102の外観を示す図解図である。また、図2は、画像読取装置100の内部構成を示す平面図であり、図3は、画像読取装置100の縦断面を概略的に示す断面図である。
次に、図8を参照して、この発明の第2実施例である画像読取装置100について説明する。この第2実施例では、係止爪56の配置位置が上述の第1実施例と異なる。その他の部分の構成については同様であるので、上述の第1実施例と共通する部分については、同じ参照番号を付し、重複する説明は省略または簡略化することとする。そして、以下では、この第2実施例の画像読取装置100の駆動装置10が備えるプーリホルダ42の構成についてのみ説明する。図8は、画像読取装置100の駆動装置10が備えるプーリホルダ42を示す図解図であり、(a)はプーリホルダ42の斜視図であり、(b)はプーリホルダ42の平面図であり、(c)はプーリホルダ42を背面側から見た側面図である。
続いて、図9を参照して、この発明の第3実施例である画像読取装置100について説明する。この第3実施例では、プーリ軸44に2つの係止爪56を形成した点が上述の第1および第2実施例と異なる。その他の部分の構成については同様であるので、上述の第1および第2実施例と共通する部分については、同じ参照番号を付し、重複する説明は省略または簡略化することとする。そして、以下では、この第3実施例の画像読取装置100の駆動装置10が備えるプーリホルダ42の構成についてのみ説明する。図9は、画像読取装置100の駆動装置10が備えるプーリホルダ42を示す図解図であり、(a)はプーリホルダ42の斜視図であり、(b)はプーリホルダ42の平面図であり、(c)はプーリホルダ42を裏面側から見た側面図である。

Claims (7)
- 画像読取装置に用いられ、原稿載置台に載置された原稿上の画像を読み取るための走査ユニットを往復移動させる駆動装置であって、
前記走査ユニットを牽引する牽引部材、
前記牽引部材に駆動力を伝達する駆動プーリ、
前記牽引部材に張力を付与した状態で当該牽引部材が巻回された従動プーリ、および
前記従動プーリを回転可能に保持するプーリ軸を有するプーリホルダを備え、
前記プーリ軸は、前記従動プーリの上端部を係止可能であって、かつ弾性変形により当該プーリ軸の軸中心側に向かって傾動することによって前記従動プーリとの係止を解除可能であり、当該プーリ軸の軸中心を通り前記張力作用方向に延びる線を中心線として線対称に配置される2つの係止爪を有し、
前記係止爪は、前記プーリ軸における周方向位置のうち、前記駆動プーリから最も遠い位置よりも、前記牽引部材から前記従動プーリへの張力作用方向側に配置される、駆動装置。 - 前記プーリホルダを前記画像読取装置内に取り付けるための保持部材は、前記プーリ軸よりも、前記牽引部材から前記従動プーリへの張力作用方向側に配置される、請求項1記載の駆動装置。
- 前記係止爪は、前記張力作用方向側であって、かつ、前記プーリ軸の軸中心から前記張力作用方向に延びる線を中心線として、前記プーリ軸の軸中心を通り前記張力作用方向に延びる線と直交する線上までの位置に配置される、請求項1または2記載の駆動装置。
- 前記係止爪の上端面は、前記プーリ軸の軸中心に対して直交する方向に延びる平坦面とされる、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の駆動装置。
- 前記係止爪の前記プーリ軸の軸中心側の上端部には、前記プーリ軸の軸中心に向かって下り勾配となる傾斜面が形成される、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の駆動装置。
- 請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載の駆動装置を備える、画像読取装置。
- 請求項6記載の画像読取装置を備える、画像形成装置。
