(29) 前記少なくとも1つの圧縮要素が、シャフトと、第1のリングと、第2のリングとを含む組立体である、実施態様27に記載の外科用器具。

(33) 前記テーパ形状の電極が内側部分と外側部分とを含み、前記内側部分が前記溝に近接しており、前記内側部分の表面と前記外側部分の表面との間の垂直距離が、約0.051mm(0.002”)〜約0.508mm(0.020”)の範囲内である、実施態様31に記載の外科用器具。

遠位端を含む切断部材であって、前記切断部材は、少なくとも部分的に前記溝の中に嵌合するように寸法設定及び構成され、前記切断部材は、後退位置と完全前進位置との間で前記溝に沿って並進するように構成される、切断部材と、

電気入力部、を備える、ハンドルと、
前記ハンドルから延びるシャフトであって、前記シャフトは導体を備え、前記トリガーは、前記電気入力部と前記導体とを電気的に結合するために選択的に作動可能である、シャフトと、
長手方向軸及び切開面を画定するエンドエフェクタであって、
第1の顎部材と、
第2の顎部材であって、前記第1の顎部材及び前記第2の顎部材の少なくとも一方は、前記第1の顎部材と前記第2の顎部材との中間に組織をクランプするために、前記第1の顎部材及び前記第2の顎部材のもう一方に対して移動可能である、第2の顎部材と、
前記第2の顎部材に配置され、前記導体と電気的に結合された電極であって、前記電極が、V字型の断面形状を画定する、電極と、
前記第1の顎部材と連結され、かつ前記長手方向軸に沿って延びる第1及び第2の組織係合表面であって、前記第1及び第2の組織係合表面はそれぞれ、前記切開面を横切る面に対して水平である前記第1の顎部材の表面部分に対して傾斜している傾斜面を含み、前記傾斜面が前記水平な表面部分よりも前記切開面の近くに位置し、前記傾斜面は内側部分と外側部分とを有する、第1及び第2の組織係合表面と、を備える、エンドエフェクタと、
を備え、
前記第1の顎部材は、前記第1の組織係合表面の前記傾斜面を有する第1の歯と、前記第2の組織係合表面の前記傾斜面を有する第2の歯とを備え、前記第1及び第2の歯は、全体としてV字型の断面形状を有する、外科用器具。 - 前記電極が、
第1の組織接触面を有し、かつ長手方向に延びる第1の外縁を有する、第1の側方部分と、
第2の組織接触面を有し、かつ長手方向に延びる第2の外縁を有する、第2の側方部分と、
を含み、
前記第1及び第2の側方部分はそれぞれ、水平部分、および前記水平部分に対して傾斜している傾斜部分を含み、
前記第1の側方部分と前記第2の側方部分とは長手方向の端部で接続されており、前記傾斜部分が、前記第1の外縁と前記第2の外縁との中間に位置付けられる、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。 - 前記第1の顎部材に、導電性の戻り経路が形成され、
前記外科用器具が、
前記第1の顎部材上の導電性の第1の停止部と、
前記第2の顎部材上の導電性の第2の停止部と、
をさらに備え、前記第1の顎部材及び前記第2の顎部材が閉位置にあるとき、前記第1の停止部は前記第2の停止部と対向し、前記第1の停止部が前記第2の停止部と接触すると前記電極と前記導電性の戻り経路との間に隙間を形成する、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。 - 前記電極が、組織接触面を有する水平部分、および前記水平部分に対して傾斜している傾斜部分を含み、前記歯の前記傾斜面が、前記第1の顎部材及び前記第2の顎部材が閉位置にあるときに対向する前記電極の前記傾斜部分と略平行である、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記電極が、組織接触面を有する水平部分、および前記水平部分に対して傾斜している傾斜部分を含み、
前記第1の顎部材の前記水平な表面部分が、導電性の組織接触面を有し、
前記電極の前記水平部分は、前記第1の顎部材及び前記第2の顎部材が閉位置にあるときに対向する前記導電性の表面部分と略平行である、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。 - 前記歯の前記傾斜面が、前記閉位置において対向する前記電極の前記傾斜部分と略平行である、請求項5に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記電極が、内側垂直部分と外側垂直部分とを備え、前記内側及び外側垂直部分が、前記エンドエフェクタの切開面と略平行である、請求項5に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記閉位置にあるとき、前記電極の前記傾斜部分が、前記第1又は第2の組織係合表面の前記傾斜面よりも外側に位置する、請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 前記第1の顎部材上の導電性の第1の停止部と、
前記第2の顎部材上の導電性の第2の停止部と、
をさらに備え、前記第1の顎部材及び前記第2の顎部材が閉位置にあるとき、前記第1の停止部は前記第2の停止部と対向し、前記第1の停止部が前記第2の停止部と接触すると前記電極と前記導電性の表面部分との間に隙間を形成する、請求項5に記載の外科用器具。
