Description
図1は第1の実施形態に係る電池監視システムの一応用例を示すブロック図である。電池監視システム4は、MCU(Micro Control Unit)11と、バッテリ2と、バッテリ2を監視する電池監視装置1とを備えている。電池監視システム4は、監視対象であるバッテリ2の電圧あるいは電流を監視する。バッテリ2は、例えば電池セルを複数個直列に接続したリチウムイオン電池である。電池監視装置1は電池監視回路101、電池監視IC10を備えている。
図4は第2の実施形態に係る電池監視システムに用いられる電池監視回路102の構成を示す図である。
図6は、第3の実施形態に係る電池監視システムに用いられる電池監視回路103の概略構成を示す図である。図6において図1又は図4と同一の構成要素には同一の符号を付して、重複した説明は省略する。
図8は第4の実施形態に係る電池監視システムに用いられる電池監視回路104の概略構成を示す図である。同図において図2、図4又は図6の構成要素と同一の構成要素には同一の符号を付して示し、重複した説明は省略する。
Claims (6)
- クロック信号が入力されるクロック入力端子と、
データ信号が入力されるデータ入力端子と、
これらの入力端子からのクロック信号およびデータ信号が供給された通信制御回路と、
この通信制御回路により制御され、主電源の供給および停止を行う主電源用レギュレータと、
前記クロック信号により充電される充電回路と、
この充電回路の充電電圧により起動して副電源を前記通信制御回路に供給する副電源用レギュレータと、を備え、
前記通信制御回路は、前記副電源が供給されると、前記データ信号に基づき前記主電源用レギュレータを制御する電池監視装置。 - 前記充電回路は、一方の電極が第1の電圧降下素子を介して前記クロック入力端子、かつ第2の電圧降下素子を介して前記主電源に接続され、他方の電極が接地されたキャパシタと、前記キャパシタに充電された電圧が所定の電圧に達したとき、前記副電源用レギュレータに電流を供給する回路と、を備えた請求項1記載の電池監視装置。
- 前記充電回路は、前記キャパシタの一方の電極に、前記クロック信号の電圧を前記第1の電圧降下素子により電圧降下された第1の電圧よりも高い、前記主電源の電圧を前記第2の電圧降下素子により電圧降下された第2の電圧が印加されることにより、前記クロック信号による充電を停止する請求項2記載の電池監視装置。
- 前記クロック入力端子は、正相クロック信号が入力される正相クロック入力端子および逆相クロック信号が入力される逆相クロック入力端子からなり、これらの入力端子はそれぞれ前記第1の電圧降下素子を介して前記キャパシタに接続されるとともに、第1の差動増幅器を介して前記通信制御回路に接続され、
前記データ入力端子は、正相データ信号が入力される正相データ入力端子および逆相データ信号が入力される逆相データ入力端子からなり、これらの入力端子はそれぞれ第2の差動増幅器を介して前記通信制御回路に接続される請求項2記載の電池監視装置。 - プロセッサと、
前記プロセッサに何れか一つが接続され、直列に接続された複数の電池監視装置と、
前記複数の電池監視装置に対応して並列に設けられ、それぞれが直列接続された複数個のセルを有する複数の電池と、を備え、
前記電池監視装置は、
前記プロセッサからクロック信号が入力されるクロック入力端子と、
前記プロセッサからデータ信号が入力されるデータ入力端子と、
これらの入力端子からのクロック信号およびデータ信号が供給された通信制御回路と、
この通信制御回路により制御され、主電源の供給および停止を行う主電源用レギュレータと、
前記クロック信号により充電される充電回路と、
この充電回路の充電電圧により起動して副電源を前記通信制御回路に供給する副電源用レギュレータと、を備え、
前記通信制御回路は、前記副電源が供給されると、前記データ信号に基づき前記主電源用レギュレータを制御する電池監視システム。 - 何れか2つの電池監視装置の間は、容量性素子を介して接続されている請求項5記載の電池監視システム。
