Description
また、従来の方法で石綿を除去する場合は、石綿を50乃至90%除去することができるが、石綿が1%以上含まれた場合は、取扱及び移動が法的で禁止されているため、石綿を99%以上除去することができる方法が必要である。
平均粒度=[6/(比表面積×比重)×1000]
ここで、比表面積は、m2/g、粒度は、nm、比重は、g/cm3である。
325メッシュ(40マイクロン)、200メッシュ(75マイクロン)、2mm、3mm、5mmなどの破砕及び粉砕された蛇紋石の比表面積はそれぞれ、0.06mm2/g、0.032mm2/g、0.0012m2/g、0.0008m2/g、0.00048m2/gである。
Mg3Si2O5(OH)4+3C2H2O4=3MgC2O4+2SiO2+10H2O
シュウ酸6.5gを溶解した溶液を用いたことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で蛇紋石を無害化させた。
シュウ酸1gを溶解させた溶液を使用したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様な方法で、蛇紋石を無害化させた。
廃スレート板を4〜5mm程度のサイズに破砕及び湿式粉碎し、顕微鏡で破砕及び粉砕した廃スレート表面に含まれている石綿の量を測定した。石綿の量は、13%程度であった。前記破砕及び粉砕した廃スレートの比表面積を測定しており、破砕及び粉砕した廃スレート20gとシュウ酸20gが溶解した溶液を混合した後、アルミナ反応容器に入れて、100℃で30分間熱処理して、廃スレートを無害化した。
廃スレート20gとシュウ酸2gが溶解した溶液とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例4と同様な方法で廃スレートを無害化させた。
廃スレート5gとシュウ酸2gが溶解した溶液とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例4と同様な方法で、廃スレートを無害化させた。
廃スレート4500gとシュウ酸45gが溶解した溶液とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例4と同様な方法で、廃スレートを無害化させた。
廃スレート4500gとシュウ酸9gが溶解した溶液とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例4と同様な方法で、廃スレートを無害化させた。
廃スレート4500gとシュウ酸5850gが溶解した溶液とを混合した後、アルミナ反応容器に入れて、100℃で30分間熱処理して、廃スレートを処理した。
廃スレート20gとシュウ酸26gとを混合し、85℃で熱処理したことを除き、前記比較例1と同様な方法で、廃スレートを処理した。
石綿除去前の蛇紋石原鉱に含まれた石綿含量と、本発明による除去方法で処理された前記実施例1乃至4の石綿含量とを調べるために、走査電子顕微鏡(SEM)で分析し、その結果を図3及び図4に示した。
Claims (3)
- 0.1〜30mmのサイズに破砕又は粉砕された自然産蛇紋石、又は、1×1mm2〜1×1m2のサイズに破砕又は粉砕された廃スレートとシュウ酸とを1:0.002〜1:1の重量比で混合した後、90〜110℃で熱処理して、前記石綿含有物質における繊維状の石綿から六面体構造のマグネシウムオキサレートを形成させて石綿の99%以上が除去されることを特徴とする低温熱処理を用いた石綿含有物質から石綿を除去する方法。
- 前記シュウ酸は、水道水、蒸留水、及び、脱イオン水からなる群から選ばれる1種以上に希釈させることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低温熱処理を用いた石綿含有物質から石綿を除去する方法。
- 前記破砕は、ジョークラッシャ(Jaw crusher)及びコーンクラッシャ(Cone crusher)で行われ、前記粉砕は、微粉砕機(Pulverizer)で行われることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の低温熱処理を用いた石綿含有物質から石綿を除去する方法。
