Claims (5)
- 正極集電体の両面に正極活物質層が形成された複数の正極板と、負極集電体の両面に負極活物質層が形成された複数の負極板とが、セパレータを介して積層された発電要素を備えた薄型二次電池であって、
前記複数の正極板及び前記負極板は、それぞれ電気的に並列接続されており、
前記発電要素のうち、最外層にある前記正極板及び前記負極板は、それぞれ、前記正極集電体の外側表面には、前記正極活物質層の代わりに第1の樹脂層が形成され、前記負極集電体の外側表面には、前記負極活物質層の代わりに第2の樹脂層が形成されており、
前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層は、前記発電要素を覆うとともに、該発電要素の周縁部において、前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層が互いに接合して、前記発電要素が前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層のみによって密封されており、
前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層の厚みは、10〜100μmの範囲にある、薄型二次電池。 - 最外層にある前記正極板の前記正極集電体、及び最外層にある前記負極板の前記負極集電体は、それぞれ、前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層の周縁部から外方に延出する外部端子を有している、請求項1に記載の薄型二次電池。
- 前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層は、それぞれ、前記発電要素の周縁部において、熱溶融樹脂が設けられており、前記第1の樹脂層及び第2の樹脂層は、前記熱溶融樹脂の熱溶着によって、互いに結合している、請求項1に記載の薄型二次電池。
- 前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層は、連続した一体の樹脂層からなる、請求項1に記載の薄型二次電池。
- 前記第1の樹脂層及び前記第2の樹脂層は、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリアミド、ポリイミド、四フッ化エチレン樹脂、フッ化ビニリデン樹脂、変性ポリプロピレン、ポリ酢酸ビニル、ポリビニルアセテートおよびナイロンからなる群より選ばれる少なくとも1種からなる、請求項1に記載の薄型二次電池。
