Description
本願は、2010年6月29日出願の米国仮特許出願第61/359,710号明細書と2010年10月15日出願の同第61/393,695号明細書の優先権を主張し、これら開示の全文を参照により本願に援用する。
MRIまたはCTスキャンによって患者の解剖学的構造に関連するデータを取得するステップと、
MRIまたはCTスキャンデータを3次元データセットに変換するステップと、
患者に対して行われる外科手術の支援に使用するために構築される予定の器材の1つまたは複数の方向軸を決定するステップと、
決定された軸を用い、また、変換されたデータセットから得られるその他の制約を考慮に入れて、外科手術の支援に使用するための器材をモデリングするステップと、
たとえばラピッドプロトタイピング装置を使用して、モデリングされた器材のプロトタイプを生成するステップと、
そのプロトタイプを外科手術中に使用するために準備するステップと、
を含む。
患者固有の解剖学的構造に対応するデータをその患者から収集するステップと、
収集されたデータから、患者固有の解剖学的構造に適合する複数の適合面を含むテンプレートのモデルを作成するステップと、
モデルに関連するデータを製造機械に提供するステップと、
複数の適合面を含み、さらに、その外科手術で使用される少なくとも1つの用具または器具に対応する少なくとも1つの別の適合面を含むように、テンプレートを迅速に生成するステップと、
外科手術で使用するために、そのテンプレートに基づく永久的器材を生成するステップと、
を含む。
A)MRIまたはCTスキャンによって、患者の解剖学的構造に関連するデータを取得するステップと、
B)MRIまたはCTスキャンデータを3次元データセットに変換するステップと、
C)患者に対して実行される予定の外科手術の支援に使用するために構成される器材の1または複数の方向軸を決定するステップと、
D)決定された軸を使用し、また、変換されたデータセットから得られるその他の制約を考慮して、外科手術の支援に使用される器材をモデリングするステップと、
E)たとえば、ラピッドプロトタイピング装置を使用して、モデリングされた器材のプロトタイプを生成するステップと、
F)プロトタイプを、外科手術中に使用するために準備するステップ。
Claims (20)
- 特定の椎骨の解剖学的特徴と適合する特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドであって、
椎骨に隣接して位置付けられるように構成された中央本体と、
前記中央本体の第1の側から延在し、第1のコラムで終端する第1の長いウィングであって、前記第1のコラムが前記特定の椎骨の少なくとも1つの第1の形状と解剖学的に適合した第1の底面を具える、第1の長いウィングと、
前記第1の側と反対の前記中央本体の第2の側から延在し、第2のコラムで終端する第2の長いウィングであって、前記第2のコラムが前記特定の椎骨の少なくとも1つの第2の形状と解剖学的に適合した第2の底面を具える、第2の長いウィングとを具え、
前記第1及び第2の底面が患者の解剖学的構造から決定され、当該解剖学的構造に相補的であることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。 - 請求項1に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドがさらに、前記中央本体の下側から延在する少なくとも2つのウィングを具え、前記少なくとも2つのウィングの各々が前記特定の椎骨の少なくとも1つの形状と解剖学的に適合した底面を具えることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項2に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドが前記患者の複数の椎骨にわたるように構成されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項1に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、前記第1及び第2のコラムが少なくとも1つの器具をガイドするための経路を規定することを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項2に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、前記少なくとも2つのウィングの底面の各々が、特定の椎骨の薄層又は下関節突起の少なくとも1つの形状と解剖学的に適合することを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項3に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドは、前記患者の複数の椎骨にわたるための複数の他のガイドに連結するように構成されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項3に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドは、患者の複数の椎骨にわたるための、一体構造又は多段型構造で構成された複数のガイドから成ることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項1に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドがさらに、前記第1及び第2のコラムを通って長さ方向に延在する第1及び第2の穴を具えることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項8に記載の特定の患者用の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、前記第1及び第2の穴は、前記特定の椎骨に1つ又は複数のインプラントを配置するために所定の軌道に沿って方向付けられ、前記所定の軌道は前記患者の解剖学的特徴から決定されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項1に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドは、前記患者の1つ又は複数の椎骨で使用されるように構成されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項2に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、前記少なくとも2つのウィングの底面の各々が、1つ又は複数の椎骨の薄層又は下関節突起の少なくとも1つの形状と解剖学的に適合することを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項1に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドは、前記患者に関連する複数の解剖学的特徴にわたるための複数の他のガイドに連結するように構成されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項1に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドは、前記患者に関連する複数の解剖学的特徴にわたるための一体構造又は多段型構造で構成される複数のガイドから成ることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項8に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、前記第1及び第2の穴は、前記患者の解剖学的特徴から決定された所定の軌道に関して1つ又は複数の器具を受けるように構成されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項1に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、当該ガイドは、少なくとも第1の部分及び少なくとも第2の部分から成り、当該部分は選択的に、使用位置で互いに相互に連結されることを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 請求項15に記載の椎弓根スクリューガイドにおいて、前記少なくとも第1及び第2の部分は選択的に、前記椎弓根スクリューガイドの中央本体に関して相互に連結することを特徴とする椎弓根スクリューガイド。
- 特定の患者の解剖学的特徴と適合する外科用ガイドであって、
前記解剖学的特徴に隣接して位置付けられるように構成された中央本体と、
前記中央本体の第1の側から延在し、第1のコラムで終端する第1の長いウィングであって、前記第1のコラムが前記患者の解剖学的特徴に関連する少なくとも1つの第1の形状と解剖学的に適合する第1の底面を具える、第1の長いウィングと、
前記中央本体の第2の側から延在し、第2のコラムで終端する第2の長いウィングであって、前記第2のコラムが前記患者の解剖学的特徴に関連する少なくとも1つの第2の形状と解剖学的に適合する第2の底面を具える、第2の長いウィングと、
前記中央本体の下側から延在する第1及び第2のウィングとを具え、前記第1及び第2のウィングの各々が、前記患者の解剖学的特徴に関連する第3及び第4の形状とそれぞれ解剖学的に適合する底面を具えることを特徴とする外科用ガイド。 - 請求項17に記載の外科用ガイドにおいて、前記第1及び第2のコラムが少なくとも1つの器具をガイドするための経路を規定することを特徴とする外科用ガイド。
- 請求項17に記載の外科用ガイドがさらに、前記第1及び第2のコラムを通って長さ方向に延在する第1及び第2の穴を具えることを特徴とする外科用ガイド。
- 請求項17に記載の外科用ガイドにおいて、前記少なくとも第1及び第2の長いウィングは選択的に、前記外科用ガイドの中央本体に相互に連結し、前記中央本体から取外し可能であることを特徴とする外科用ガイド。
