Description
Claims (1)
- 無線通信システムにおける遠隔ユニットの位置決めを行うデバイスであって、
前記遠隔ユニットからの非GPSベースの測定値のデータを処理して、第1の位置決め解を決定し、前記遠隔ユニットからのGPSベースの測定値のデータを処理して、第2の位置決め解を決定する位置決めエンジンと、
前記第1および第2の位置決め解のそれぞれの推定誤差を求め、前記第1の位置決め解と、前記第2の位置決め解とのうち、前記推定誤差の小さい位置決め解を、前記遠隔ユニットの地理的位置として望ましい最終解として選択するコントローラとを備え、
前記コントローラはさらに、取得支援データを、それぞれ異なる測定方法によって得られた測定値をそれぞれ用いることによって、2セット生成し、前記2セットの取得支援データを結合することによって、最終的な取得支援データを生成し、
前記2セットの取得支援獲得データの結合は、フェーズウィンドウまたはドップラウィンドウの交わりまたは平均どちらかを含み、前記最終的な取得支援データは、前記位置決めエンジンが、前記GPSベースの測定値のデータを処理する際に、前記遠隔ユニットを支援するために使用される、
