Description
(1)アルカリ金属珪酸塩(例:NaSiO2);

(5)水。
Claims (17)
- 鋳物砂型を製造するためのバインダ組成物であって、前記バインダ組成物は、
アルカリ金属珪酸塩と、
アルカリ金属水酸化物と
澱粉と、
珪酸テトラエチルと、
水と、
を含み、
前記組成物は重量パーセントで、
(1)0.2%〜1.5%の珪酸テトラエチルを含み、
(2)1.0%〜2.5%の珪酸塩及び水酸化物の溶液及び/又は混合物を含み、この溶液及び/又は混合物は、85%〜95%のアルカリ金属珪酸塩ベースの溶液及び/又は混合物、2%〜6%のアルカリ金属水酸化物ベースの溶液及び/又は混合物、4%〜8%の水ベースの溶液及び/又は混合物を含むものであり、
(3)1.0%〜2.5%の水中澱粉の溶液及び/又は混合物を含み、この溶液及び/又は混合物は、その70%〜85%が澱粉溶液及び/又は混合物で、15%〜30%が澱粉であり、かつ、
(4)0.5%〜2.5%の水を含み、前記組成物中の水は全て、前記0.5%〜2.5%の範囲内にて含まれ、
他に明記されない限り、上記の割合は全て、組成物とともに使用される砂の重量に対する重量パーセントである、バインダ組成物。 - 前記アルカリ金属珪酸塩は珪酸ナトリウムである、請求項1記載のバインダ組成物。
- 前記アルカリ金属水酸化物は水酸化ナトリウムである、請求項1〜2のいずれかに記載のバインダ組成物。
- 前記澱粉はコーンスターチである、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のバインダ組成物。
- 前記澱粉はタピオカ澱粉である、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のバインダ組成物。
- 前記澱粉の溶液及び/又は混合物は、15重量%〜20重量%の改質されたコーンスターチ、5重量%〜10重量%の天然のタピオカ澱粉、および、70重量%〜85重量%の水を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のバインダ組成物。
- 前記鋳物砂を上記請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のバインダ組成物と混合することによって調製された、鋳物砂を使用して鋳物型を製造するための調製砂。
- 前記鋳物砂はケイ砂である、請求項7記載の調製砂。
- 前記鋳物砂はジルコニウム砂である、請求項7記載の調製砂。
- アルカリ金属珪酸塩、アルカリ金属水酸化物、澱粉、珪酸テトラエチルおよび水を含むバインダと鋳物砂との混合物から鋳物型を形成する方法であって、前記方法は、
前記砂を前記バインダと混合するステップと、
混合の結果得られた砂とバインダとをコールドボックス鋳型に吹き付けるステップと、
熱風の蒸気を100度〜150度の温度で前記コールドボックス鋳型の前記砂に貫通させ、これにより前記砂に存在する水および他のいずれの液体も蒸発させるステップと、
前記形成された砂型を前記コールドボックス鋳型から取り出すステップを含み、これにより金属鋳造での利用に適した機械的安定性を有し、
前記バインダは、重量パーセントで、
(1)0.2%〜1.5%の珪酸テトラエチルを有し、
(2)1.0%〜2.5%の珪酸塩及び水酸化物の溶液及び/又は混合物を有し、この溶液及び/又は混合物は、溶液及び/又は混合物ベースで85%〜95%のアルカリ金属珪酸塩、溶液及び/又は混合物ベースで2%〜6%のアルカリ金属水酸化物、及び溶液及び/又は混合物ベースで4%〜8%の水を含み、
(3)1.0%〜2.5%の水中澱粉の溶液及び/又は混合物を有し、この水中澱粉の70%〜85%は水で、15%〜30%が澱粉であり、かつ、
(4)0.5%〜2.5%の水を含み、前記組成物中の水は全て、前記0.5%〜2.5%の範囲内で含まれ、
他に明記されない限り、上記の割合は全て、組成物とともに使用される砂の重量に対する重量パーセントである、鋳物鋳型の形成方法。 - 前記砂はケイ砂である、請求項10に記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
- 前記砂はジルコニウム砂である、請求項11に記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
- 前記アルカリ金属珪酸塩は珪酸ナトリウムである、請求項10〜12のいずれかに記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
- 前記珪酸ナトリウムの溶液及び/又は混合物は、85重量%〜95重量%の珪酸ナトリウム、2重量%〜6重量%の水酸化ナトリウム、および、4重量%〜8重量%の水を含む、請求項13記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
- 前記澱粉はコーンスターチである、請求項10〜14のいずれかに記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
- 前記澱粉はタピオカ澱粉である、請求項10〜15のいずれかに記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
- 前記澱粉の溶液及び/又は混合物は15重量%〜20重量%の改質されたコーンスターチ、5重量%〜10重量%の天然のタピオカ澱粉、および、70重量%〜85重量%の水を含む、請求項10〜16のいずれかに記載の鋳物鋳型の形成方法。
