Description
Claims (9)
- 部品の表面仕上りを改善するピーニング方法であって、
第1のガラスビーズ媒体を用いて第1の強度で湿式ガラスビーズピーニングを行うことを含む第1のピーニング作業を行って、部品の表面近傍領域内に残留圧縮応力層を生じさせるステップと、次いで、
前記第1のガラスビーズ媒体のガラスビーズの直径の1/4〜1/3の直径を有するガラスビーズからなる第2のガラスビーズ媒体を用いて前記第1の強度の1/4〜1/3の強度の第2の強度で湿式ガラスビーズピーニングを行うことを含む第2のピーニング作業を少なくとも行って、前記部品の表面近傍領域内の残留圧縮応力を残しながら前記部品の表面の表面平滑化をもたらすステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記第1のガラスビーズ媒体のガラスビーズが0.50mm超の直径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のガラスビーズ媒体のガラスビーズが0.50mm超〜0.90mmの直径を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のピーニング作業の前記第1の強度が7N〜14Nである、請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のガラスビーズ媒体のガラスビーズが0.15〜0.25mmの直径を有する、請求項1乃至請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第2のピーニング作業の前記第2の強度が6N未満である、請求項1乃至請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記第1のピーニング作業後の部品の表面の表面仕上げが1.8〜2.5μmであり、
前記第2のピーニング作業後の部品の表面の表面仕上げが0.5〜1.3μm未満である、
請求項1乃至請求項6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記第2のピーニング作業後の前記部品の表面の表面仕上げが0.9μm未満である、
請求項1乃至請求項7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。 - 前記部品がターボ機械のエアフォイル部品である、請求項1乃至請求項8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
