Description
前記各軸部の先端面に、少なくとも1本以上の油溜用の環状溝を設け、該環状溝の外周側にダム状の円環壁を連続して形成したことを特徴としている。
〔第1実施形態〕
図4は本実施形態に供されるプロペラシャフトを示し、このプロペラシャフトは、トランスミッション側に接続される駆動シャフト1と、デファレンシャルギア側に接続される図外の従動シャフトと、前記駆動シャフト1の両端部に設けられた十字軸継手としての2つの第1、第2の自在継手2、3と、駆動シャフト1と従動シャフトとの間に設けられた図外のセンターベアリングと、を備えている。
〔本実施形態の作用〕
以下、本実施形態の作用について説明すれば、プロペラシャフトが回転すると、この遠心力によって油孔15内の潤滑油(グリース)が軸受カップ16の底壁内端面16c側へ流動して、前記一端開口部15aと受け溝16dとによって形成された円盤状の空間部22に流入し、ここで一旦貯留される。

Claims (2)
- 十字状に配置された4本の軸部を有する十字軸部材と、
前記各軸部の外周面に転動体を介して回転自在に嵌合した有底円筒状の軸受カップと、を備え、
前記軸受カップの内底面と該内底面に対向する前記軸部の先端面が、該軸部の軸心を中心として環状の摺動域で摺動する自在継手であって、
前記各軸部の先端面に、少なくとも1本以上の油溜用の環状溝を設け、該環状溝の外周側にダム状の円環壁を連続して形成したことを特徴とする自在継手。 - 前記各軸部には、該各軸部の先端面から内部軸方向に沿って油孔が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の自在継手。
