Description
前記散乱パターンは、前記光源との隣接部の密度が低く、前記光源の間の領域は密度が高いことが好ましい。
前記散乱パターンは、入光面と並行に配置されることが好ましい。
前記光学シートは、プリズムシートおよび拡散シートのうち少なくとも一つであることが好ましい。
先ず、図1〜図3を参照して本発明の一実施形態による表示装置について詳細に説明する。ここで、図1は、本発明の一実施形態による表示装置の分解斜視図であり、表示装置として液晶表示装置を一例としている。図2は、図1に示す表示装置含まれる第1実施形態による導光板の部分斜視図であり、図3は、図1に示す表示装置に含まれる第1実施形態による導光板の底面斜視図である。
プリズムパターン144は、導光板140の一側部から他側部に長く形成することができ、隣接するパターンと連続的に形成したり一定の間隔で離隔して形成したりすることができる。プリズムパターン144の横断面は、三角形、円又は楕円の一端部の形状で形成することができる。
また、光源151の周囲にはむしろ散乱パターン146bの密度を低くし、光源151から所定距離離隔された所は散乱パターン146bの密度を高めることができる。
これによって、プリズムシートを通過する光はほぼ大部分が垂直方向に進行するようになり保護シート上の輝度分布を均一にすることができる。また、保護シートは、プリズムシートの表面を保護する役割を果たすだけではなく、光の分布を均一にするために光を拡散させる役割を果たす。

Claims (6)
- 光を発生する光源と、
前記光源から光が入射する入光面、該入光面と接して第1プリズムパターンを含む上面、及び該上面と対向して形成され、複数の凹部が形成された下面を含む導光板と、
前記導光板の上部に配置され、第1面及び該第1面と対向する第2面を含む光学シートと、を備え、
前記第1面及び前記第2面のうちの少なくとも一つに散乱パターンが形成され、
前記散乱パターンは、光源を基準に位置によって密度が高い部分と密度が低い部分がマトリックス形態で配列されることを特徴とするバックライトアッセンブリ。 - 前記散乱パターンは、前記光学シートに形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトアッセンブリ。
- 前記散乱パターンは、前記光源との隣接部の密度が低く、前記光源の間の領域は密度が高いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトアッセンブリ。
- 前記散乱パターンは、前記光源との隣接部の密度が高く、前記光源の間の領域は密度が低いことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトアッセンブリ。
- 前記散乱パターンは、入光面と並行に配置されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトアッセンブリ。
- 前記光学シートは、プリズムシートおよび拡散シートのうち少なくとも一つであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライトアッセンブリ。
