Description
製品の形状と寸法に対応して設計されたモールドのモールドキャビティにNdFeB系合金粉末を3.0〜4.2g/cm3内の所定の充填密度で充填し、該合金粉末を該モールドキャビティに充填したまま磁界配向と焼結を行うことにより、所望の形状と寸法を持つNdFeB系焼結磁石を製造するNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置において、
a) 前記合金粉末を充填する前の前記モールドの重量を測定する第一重量測定手段と、
b) 前記モールドに、前記モールドキャビティを拡張するようにガイドを設けることにより、所定の容積の供給用キャビティを形成する供給用キャビティ形成手段と、
c) 合金粉末を、供給密度を調整しつつ前記供給用キャビティ内の容積と同じ容量になるように該供給用キャビティに供給する供給手段と、
d) 前記供給用キャビティ内に供給された合金粉末を、前記モールドキャビティ内に押し込める高密度化手段と、
e) 前記高密度化手段により合金粉末が充填された後のモールドの重量を測定する第二重量測定手段と、
f) 前記第一重量測定手段と前記第二重量測定手段のそれぞれの測定値の差から、前記モールドキャビティに充填された合金粉末の重量を算出し、該算出された重量に基づいて、前記供給用キャビティに供給された合金粉末が前記モールドキャビティ内に全て充填されたときに前記充填密度になるように前記供給密度のフィードバック制御を行う制御手段と、
を有することを特徴とする。

Claims (6)
- 製品の形状と寸法に対応して設計されたモールドのモールドキャビティにNdFeB系合金粉末を3.0〜4.2g/cm3内の所定の充填密度で充填し、該合金粉末を該モールドキャビティに充填したまま磁界配向と焼結を行うことにより、所望の形状と寸法を持つNdFeB系焼結磁石を製造するNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置において、
a) 前記合金粉末を充填する前の前記モールドの重量を測定する第一重量測定手段と、
b) 前記モールドに、前記モールドキャビティを拡張するようにガイドを設けることにより、所定の容積の供給用キャビティを形成する供給用キャビティ形成手段と、
c) 合金粉末を、供給密度を調整しつつ前記供給用キャビティ内の容積と同じ容量になるように該供給用キャビティに供給する供給手段と、
d) 前記供給用キャビティ内に供給された合金粉末を、前記モールドキャビティ内に押し込める高密度化手段と、
e) 前記高密度化手段により合金粉末が充填された後のモールドの重量を測定する第二重量測定手段と、
f) 前記第一重量測定手段と前記第二重量測定手段のそれぞれの測定値の差から、前記モールドキャビティに充填された合金粉末の重量を算出し、該算出された重量に基づいて、前記供給用キャビティに供給された合金粉末が前記モールドキャビティ内に全て充填されたときに前記充填密度になるように前記供給密度のフィードバック制御を行う制御手段と、
を有することを特徴とするNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置。 - 前記供給手段が、ガスタッピングを用いるものであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置。
- 前記制御手段が、前記ガスタッピングの圧力、タッピング周期、タッピング回数の少なくとも1つを制御することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置。
- 前記高密度化手段が、機械的タッピング又はプッシャーを用いるものであることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置。
- 前記高密度化手段により高密度化させた後の合金粉末の密度が3.5〜4.0g/cm3の範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置。
- 前記制御手段が、前記第一重量測定手段で取得したモールドの重量の測定値に基づいて、該モールドの異常判定を行うことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のNdFeB系焼結磁石製造装置。
