Description
特許文献1に記載の電池モジュールは、電池セルが交互に逆向きにされて配列されている。電池セルの電池蓋には、それぞれ、正・負極の外部端子が取り付けられている。隣り合う電池セルの正極外部端子と負極外部端子とは、バスバーによって接続されている。
これによれば、バスバーの正しい取付位置を容易に判断することができる。
上記電池モジュールについて、前記指標は、前記電池セルの並設方向に隣り合うバスバーの間に設けられた壁部材であることが好ましい。
これによれば、注液口に設けられる部材を第1の凸部及び第2の凸部として兼用することができる。このため、第1の電池セル及び第2の電池セルに別途第1の凸部及び第2の凸部を設ける必要がない。
上記課題を解決する電池モジュールは、電池ホルダと、該電池ホルダに保持される電池セルとからなる電池体を複数有する電池モジュールであって、前記複数の電池体は、並設され、隣り合う電池体の接続端子同士がバスバーで接続されて前記複数の電池体が直列接続され、前記電池ホルダは、第1の電池ホルダと第2の電池ホルダとを有し、前記電池セルは、前記第1の電池ホルダに保持される第1の電池セルと前記第2の電池ホルダに保持される第2の電池セルとを有し、前記第1の電池ホルダと前記第1の電池セルとからなる第1の電池体と、前記第2の電池ホルダと前記第2の電池セルとからなる第2の電池体とが、前記第1の電池ホルダに対する前記第1の電池セルの挿入方向と前記第2の電池ホルダに対する前記第2の電池セルの挿入方向とが同じ向きとなるように交互に配設され、前記複数の電池体は、隣り合う接続端子の極性が互いに同一となるように並設され、隣り合う前記電池体の異なる極性の接続端子同士が前記バスバーによって接続され、前記第1の電池ホルダ及び第2の電池ホルダは、前記複数の電池体の並設方向に隣り合うバスバーの間に位置する部分にバスバーの接続を抑止するための指標を有する。
上記電池モジュールについて、前記指標は、隣り合う前記電池体の異なる極性の接続端子を接続するバスバーをガイドする壁部材であり、前記壁部材に沿って前記バスバーが設けられることが好ましい。
図1及び図2に示すように、電池モジュール10は、第1の電池体1と第2の電池体2とが交互に並設されている。第1の電池体1は、第1の電池ホルダ31と、第1の電池ホルダ31に保持された第1の電池セルとしての第1の角型電池11とからなる。第2の電池体2は、第2の電池ホルダ51と、第2の電池ホルダ51に保持された第2の電池セルとしての第2の角型電池12とからなる。第1の角型電池11と第2の角型電池12は、同一の角型電池であるが、配置向きが逆向きとなっている。すなわち、第1の角型電池11と第2の角型電池12を交互に配設したときに、第1の角型電池11の正極端子13と第2の角型電池12の正極端子13が異なる方向に位置し、第1の角型電池11の負極端子14と第2の角型電池12の負極端子14が異なる方向に位置する。これにより、第1の角型電池11(第1の電池体1)の正極端子13と第2の角型電池12(第2の電池体2)の負極端子14は、角型電池11,12の並設方向に隣り合う。また、第1の角型電池11の負極端子14と第2の角型電池12の正極端子13が角型電池11,12の並設方向に隣り合う。隣り合う角型電池11,12の正極端子13と負極端子14は、板状のバスバーBによって接続され、これにより角型電池11,12は直列接続されている。
図8に示すように、第1の突起部41の長手方向の長さd1(突出量)は、第2の角型電池12における角型電池12の厚み方向の縁部から注液部21までの最短距離d2よりも長い。また、第2の突起部65の長手方向の長さd3(突出量)は、第1の角型電池11における角型電池11の厚み方向の縁部から注液部21までの最短距離d4よりも長い。
角型電池11,12の並設方向に隣り合うバスバーBの間には、指標となる壁部材39,63(切欠44,60が設けられない壁部材)が設けられている。
(1)角型電池11,12の並設方向に隣り合うバスバーBの間には、壁部材39,63が設けられている。このため、バスバーBを取り付けるときには、この壁部材39,63を視覚で認識可能な指標としてバスバーBを取り付けることができ、バスバーBが誤った位置に取り付けられることが抑制されている。
○ 図9(a)に示すように、第1の突起部91は、第1の電池ホルダ31の位置決め部40に設けられていてもよい。第1の突起部91は、位置決め部40から位置決め部45に向けて延びている(位置決め部位40から第1の角型電池11の高さ方向の面に沿って第1の角型電池11の幅方向に延びている)。第1の突起部91は、細長板状をなしている。第1の突起部91は、位置決め部40の軸方向の端面のうち、平坦面をなす端面93(凹部40aが設けられない側の端面)と連設されている。
○ 実施形態において、第1の電池セル及び第2の電池セルとして、円筒形電池や、ラミネート型の電池を用いてもよい。この場合、電池ホルダの形状は電池セルの形状に合わせて変更する。
Claims (8)
- 電池ホルダと、該電池ホルダに保持される電池セルとからなる電池体を複数有する電池モジュールであって、
前記複数の電池体は、並設され、隣り合う電池体の接続端子同士がバスバーで接続されて前記複数の電池体が直列接続され、
前記電池ホルダは、第1の電池ホルダと第2の電池ホルダとを有し、
前記電池セルは、前記第1の電池ホルダに保持される第1の電池セルと前記第2の電池ホルダに保持される第2の電池セルとを有し、
前記第1の電池ホルダと前記第1の電池セルとからなる第1の電池体と、前記第2の電池ホルダと前記第2の電池セルとからなる第2の電池体とが、前記第1の電池ホルダに対する前記第1の電池セルの挿入方向と前記第2の電池ホルダに対する前記第2の電池セルの挿入方向とが同じ向きとなるように交互に配設され、前記第1の電池ホルダ及び第2の電池ホルダは、前記複数の電池体の並設方向に隣り合うバスバーの間に位置する部分にバスバーの接続を抑止するための指標を有し、該指標は、前記バスバーから離間していることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記指標は、視覚で認識可能なことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記指標は、前記電池セルの並設方向に隣り合うバスバーの間に設けられた壁部材であることを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記複数の電池体は、異なる極性の接続端子が隣り合うように並設され、
前記電池ホルダは、第1の電池ホルダと第2の電池ホルダとを有し、
前記電池セルは、第1の電池ホルダに保持される第1の電池セルと前記第2の電池ホルダに保持される第2の電池セルとを有し、
前記第1の電池ホルダと前記第1の電池セルとからなる第1の電池体と、前記第2の電池ホルダと前記第2の電池セルとからなる第2の電池体とが交互に配設され、
前記第1の電池セルは、前記接続端子が設けられる端子面に第1の凸部を有し、
前記第2の電池セルは、前記接続端子が設けられる端子面に前記第1の凸部と前記電池セルの並設方向に対向しない第2の凸部を有し、
前記第1の電池ホルダは、前記第1の電池セルが設けられる側に向かって突出し、かつ、前記第2の電池セルを保持させようとした場合に前記第2の凸部と当接して前記第2の電池セルの収容を抑制する位置に突出する第1の突起部を有し、
前記第2の電池ホルダは、前記第2の電池セルが設けられる側に向かって突出し、かつ、前記第1の電池セルを保持させようとした場合に前記第1の凸部と当接して前記第1の電池セルの収容を抑制する位置に突出する第2の突起部を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のうちいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュール。 - 第1の電池ホルダと該第1の電池ホルダに保持された第1の電池セルとからなる第1の電池体と、第2の電池ホルダと該第2の電池ホルダに保持された第2の電池セルとからなる第2の電池体とが異なる極性の接続端子が隣り合うように交互に配設された電池モジュールであって、
前記第1の電池セルは、前記接続端子が設けられる端子面に第1の凸部を有し、
前記第2の電池セルは、前記接続端子が設けられる端子面に前記第1の凸部と前記電池セルの並設方向に対向しない第2の凸部を有し、
前記第1の電池ホルダは、前記第2の電池セルを保持させようとした場合に前記第2の凸部と当接して前記第2の電池セルの収容を抑制する位置に第1の突起部を有し、
前記第2の電池ホルダは、前記第1の電池セルを保持させようとした場合に前記第1の凸部と当接して前記第1の電池セルの収容を抑制する位置に第2の突起部を有することを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記第1の凸部及び前記第2の凸部は、前記第1の電池セル及び前記第2の電池セルの注液口に設けられることを特徴とする請求項4又は請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 電池ホルダと、該電池ホルダに保持される電池セルとからなる電池体を複数有する電池モジュールであって、
前記複数の電池体は、並設され、隣り合う電池体の接続端子同士がバスバーで接続されて前記複数の電池体が直列接続され、
前記電池ホルダは、第1の電池ホルダと第2の電池ホルダとを有し、
前記電池セルは、前記第1の電池ホルダに保持される第1の電池セルと前記第2の電池ホルダに保持される第2の電池セルとを有し、
前記第1の電池ホルダと前記第1の電池セルとからなる第1の電池体と、前記第2の電池ホルダと前記第2の電池セルとからなる第2の電池体とが、前記第1の電池ホルダに対する前記第1の電池セルの挿入方向と前記第2の電池ホルダに対する前記第2の電池セルの挿入方向とが同じ向きとなるように交互に配設され、前記複数の電池体は、隣り合う接続端子の極性が互いに同一となるように並設され、隣り合う前記電池体の異なる極性の接続端子同士が前記バスバーによって接続され、前記第1の電池ホルダ及び第2の電池ホルダは、前記複数の電池体の並設方向に隣り合うバスバーの間に位置する部分にバスバーの接続を抑止するための指標を有することを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記指標は、隣り合う前記電池体の異なる極性の接続端子を接続するバスバーをガイドする壁部材であり、前記壁部材に沿って前記バスバーが設けられることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の電池モジュール
