Claims (2)
- 光ファイバを冷却し被覆する方法において、
光ファイバを少なくとも1つの熱交換器に通す工程であって、該熱交換器は、前記光ファイバを該熱交換器に通過させるための通路、冷却ガスを前記通路に通すための少なくとも1つの入口、および冷却ガスを前記通路から除去するための少なくとも1つの出口を備えたものである工程、
ヘリウムを含む冷却ガスを前記少なくとも1つの入口に送り込み前記少なくとも1つの出口から排出させる工程、
前記光ファイバを少なくとも1つの被覆塗布機に通過させることによって、該光ファイバに少なくとも一次被覆を塗布する工程、
前記冷却ガスの熱伝導率を測定する工程、および
前記冷却ガスの熱伝導率の関数として、前記少なくとも1つの入口に送り込まれる、前記ヘリウムを含む冷却ガスの量を調節する工程、
を有してなる方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つの出口から出る前記冷却ガスを、前記少なくとも1つの入口に再循環させる工程をさらに有してなる請求項1記載の方法。
