Description
Claims (11)
- 体管腔から閉鎖性物質を除去するシステムにおいて:
近位端部と、体管腔内に導入するサイズの遠位端部と、前記近位端部と前記遠位端部の間に延在している管腔とを具える伸長管状部材と;
収縮形状から拡張形状に拡張しうる、前記遠位端部にある環状の拡張性部材と;
を具え、前記拡張性部材が環状の内膜を囲んでいる環状の外膜を具え、当該外膜の近位端部が第1の近位接着部位で、該管状部材の遠位端部に取付けられ、前記内膜の近位端部が前記第1の近位接着部位に対して遠位にある第2の近位接着部位で、前記管状部材の遠位端部に取付けられ、前記外膜および前記内膜が相互に前記管状部材で閉鎖された内側を規定するように、前記外膜および前記内膜は相互に遠位接着部位で取り付けられ、前記第1の近位接着部位と前記遠位接着部位との間に規定される前記外膜の弦長が、前記第2の近位接着部位と前記遠位接着部位との間に規定される前記内膜の弦長よりも長く、前記遠位接着部位が前記第2の近位接着部位の軸方向前方に形成され、これによって、前記拡張形状において、膨脹媒体が前記内側に送達された後に、前記拡張性部材が前記遠位端部から外側に広がり、前記管腔よりも大きい当該管腔と連通している入口を規定しており、前記拡張性部材は当該拡張性部材が内部で拡張する体管腔の壁と係合するサイズであることを特徴とするシステム。 - 請求項1に記載のシステムがさらに、前記管状部材の前記管腔内に配置されたダイレータを具えており、当該ダイレータのテーパ形状の遠位先端部が前記収縮形状にある前記拡張性部材を越えて延在し、前記管状部材を体管腔内に導入する際に滑らかに移動するようにすることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記ダイレータが前記遠位先端部と近接する凹部を具えており、前記収縮形状にある前記拡張性部材の遠位接着部位を受けることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項2に記載のシステムにおいて、前記管状部材が体管腔内に導入された後に前記ダイレータが前記管状部材の管腔から近位に脱着可能であることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記内膜が、前記外膜よりも屈曲または圧縮に対して耐性があることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項5に記載のシステムにおいて、前記内膜が補強層を具え、屈曲または圧縮に対する前記内膜の耐性を増加させることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記管状部材が前記近位端部にアクセスポートを具えており、物質を除去するために前記管腔へのアクセスを提供することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項4に記載のシステムが、前記ダイレータを除去した後に前記伸長管状部材の管腔を通って導入されるサイズの治療部材であって、遠位端部に拡張性の治療要素を具え、前記外側の管状部材が内部で展開される体管腔内の閉塞領域を治療する治療部材を更に具えることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項8に記載のシステムにおいて、前記入口が前記管腔の直径と同様の前記収縮形状における第1の直径を規定し、当該第1の直径よりも大きい前記拡張形状における第2の直径を規定しており、前記拡張性部材の内面が、前記第2の直径から前記第1の直径に向けて近接するテーパ形状となることを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記拡張性部材が前記拡張形状まで拡張した場合、前記内膜が凹状の軸方向の断面を有し、前記外膜が凸状の軸方向の断面を有することを特徴とするシステム。
- 請求項1に記載のシステムにおいて、前記拡張性部材が前記拡張形状まで拡張した場合、前記内膜および前記外膜が尖った楕円形の断面を形成することを特徴とするシステム。
