上記化学式2において、前記x、y、w、z及びLについては、前述した本発明の一実施形態であるナノ蛍光体での説明と重複するので、その説明を省略する。
(1.Yb3+とEr3+が共添加されたフッ化物系ナノ粒子(コア)の製造)
0.2mmolの塩化イットリウム水和物(YCl3.6H2O)、0.6mmolの塩化ガドリニウム水和物(GdCl3.6H2O)、0.18mmolの塩化イッテルビウム水和物(YbCl3.6H2O)、及び0.02mmolの塩化エルビウム水和物(ErCl3.6H2O)と、溶媒である6mlのオレイン酸及び15mlの1−オクタデセンを混合し、混合溶液を製造した(第5溶液製造段階)。
前記1.で製造されたβ−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02ナノ粒子をコアとし、Ce3+とTb3+が共添加されたフッ化物系第1化合物を含むナノ蛍光体を製造した。
前記製造例の1.により製造されたβ−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02ナノ粒子を比較例1とし、前記製造例の2.により製造されたβ−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02/β−NaGd0.8F4:Ce3+ 0.15,Tb3+ 0.05で表されるコア/シェル構造のナノ蛍光体を実施例1とし、以下の物性を測定した。
比較例1(β−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02ナノ粒子)と実施例1(β−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02/β−NaGd0.8F4:Ce3+ 0.15,Tb3+ 0.05で表されるコア/シェル構造のナノ蛍光体)をサンプルとし、それらの透過電子顕微鏡写真及び高分解能透過電子顕微鏡写真により結晶性を評価した。前記透過電子顕微鏡写真及び高分解能透過電子顕微鏡写真は、どちらもFEI社のTECNAI G2モデルを用いて撮影した。
比較例1(β−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02ナノ粒子)と実施例1(β−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02/β−NaGd0.8F4:Ce3+ 0.15,Tb3+ 0.05で表されるコア/シェル構造のナノ蛍光体)をサンプルとし、近赤外線及び紫外線の発光スペクトルを測定した。前記発光スペクトルは、どちらもHitachi F7000を用いて測定した。
実施例1(β−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02/β−NaGd0.8F4:Ce3+ 0.15,Tb3+ 0.05で表されるコア/シェル構造のナノ蛍光体)をサンプルとし、近赤外線及び紫外線を励起源とした発光の程度を肉眼で評価した。
実施例1(β−NaY0.2Gd0.6F4:Yb3+ 0.18,Er3+ 0.02/β−NaGd0.8F4:Ce3+ 0.15,Tb3+ 0.05で表されるコア/シェル構造のナノ蛍光体)をサンプルとし、磁気ヒステリシス曲線を測定して図7に示した。前記磁気ヒステリシス曲線は、Princeton社のMicro Mag 2900モデルを用いて測定した。図7を参照すると、実施例1のナノ蛍光体は常磁性を示すことを確認することができる。

- 下記化学式1で表されるCe3+とTb3+が共添加されたフッ化物系第1化合物を含むシェルと、
下記化学式2で表されるYb3+とEr3+が共添加されたフッ化物系第2化合物を含有するナノ粒子を含むコアと
を含むナノ蛍光体:

- 前記ナノ粒子は、六方晶構造を含むものである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のナノ蛍光体。
- 前記ナノ蛍光体の大きさは、1nm〜50nmである、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のナノ蛍光体。
- 前記コアの大きさは、1nm〜30nmである、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のナノ蛍光体。
- 下記化学式2で表されるYb3+とEr3+が共添加されたフッ化物系第2化合物を含有するナノ粒子を含むコアの製造過程と、前記コアを囲み、下記化学式1で表されるCe3+とTb3+が共添加されたフッ化物系第1化合物を含む蛍光体であるシェルの製造過程とを含むナノ蛍光体の製造方法であって、
前記コアの製造過程は、
(a)イットリウム前駆体、イッテルビウム前駆体、エルビウム前駆体、オレイン酸及び1−オクタデセンを含む第5溶液を製造する第5溶液製造段階と、
(b)前記第5溶液を加熱してランタノイド系錯体を含む第6溶液を形成する錯体形成
段階と、
(c)前記第6溶液とナトリウム前駆体及びフッ素前駆体を含む第7混合溶液を混合して第2反応溶液を製造する第2反応溶液製造段階と、
(d)前記第2反応溶液を熱処理して前記第2化合物を含有するナノ粒子を形成するナノ粒子形成段階とを含む、ナノ粒子の製造過程を含み、
前記シェルの製造過程は、
(e)ガドリニウム前駆体、セリウム前駆体、テルビウム前駆体及びオレイン酸塩を含む第1溶液を製造する第1溶液製造段階と、
(f)前記第1溶液を熱処理してランタノイド系錯体を含む第2溶液を製造する錯体形成段階と、
(g)前記第2溶液を含む混合物とオレイン酸及び1−オクタデセンを含む第3溶液を混合して第4溶液を製造し、前記第4溶液にナトリウム前駆体及びフッ素前駆体を混合して第1反応溶液を製造する第1反応溶液製造段階と、
(h)前記第1反応溶液を熱処理して前記第1化合物を含むナノ蛍光体を製造するナノ蛍光体製造段階とを含む、蛍光体の製造過程を含み、
前記(h)のナノ蛍光体製造段階の熱処理は、200℃〜370℃で30分〜4時間行われる、ナノ蛍光体の製造方法:

前記テルビウム前駆体は、テルビウムアセテート(Tb(CH3COO)3)、テルビウムアセテート水和物(Tb(CH3COO)3.4H2O)、塩化テルビウム(TbCl3)、塩化テルビウム水和物(TbCl3.6H2O)、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるいずれか1つである、請求項7に記載のナノ蛍光体の製造方法。 - 前記第1溶液は、Y、La、Pr、Nd、Pm、Sm、Eu、Dy、Ho、Er、Tm、Yb、Lu、及びこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択されるいずれか1つのランタノイド系前駆体をさらに含むものである、請求項7又は8に記載のナノ蛍光体の製造方法。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項によるナノ蛍光体を含む、蛍光造影剤又は磁気共鳴画像造影剤。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項によるナノ蛍光体を含む、赤外線センサ。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項によるナノ蛍光体を含む、偽造防止コード。
- 請求項1〜6のいずれか1項によるナノ蛍光体を含む、太陽電池。
