Description
Claims (19)
- 心臓の心外膜組織と心嚢組織との間の腔での使用に適合されたカテーテルであって、
細長いカテーテル本体と、
前記カテーテル本体の遠位側にある電極アセンブリであって、前記電極アセンブリは概ね同一平面内にあるチップ部分とループ部材とを有し、前記チップ部分は、前記ループ部材の一方の側に露出したアブレーション電極と、前記ループ部材の反対側に露出した絶縁部材とを有し、前記アブレーション電極は前記チップ部分の遠位端に配されている、電極アセンブリと、
前記カテーテル本体と前記電極アセンブリとの間に延びている中間部分であって、前記中間部分は前記ループ部材及び前記チップ部分を前記平面内で概ね二方向に偏向させるように適合された中間部分と、
を備えるカテーテルであって、
前記ループ部材は、前記アブレーション電極から離れて位置付けられており、かつ前記同一平面内で前記アブレーション電極を環状に取り囲んでいる、
カテーテル。 - 前記アブレーション電極は、前記心外膜組織をアブレーションするように適合されており、前記絶縁部材は、前記心嚢組織を前記アブレーション電極から絶縁するように適合されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記ループ部材は、遠位側に延びて前記遠位チップを囲む所定の形状を呈するように、形状記憶性を有する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記ループ部材は開端型である、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記チップ部分は膨張可能な部材を有する、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記チップ部分は、長手軸を有する概ね円筒形の形状をなし、前記アブレーション電極と前記絶縁部材は、前記長手軸に沿って互いに固着されている、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記アブレーション電極及び前記絶縁部材の各々は、概ね半円形の横断面を有する、請求項6に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記チップ部分内に形成された通路内に遠位端部が受容される洗浄チューブ材を更に備え、前記洗浄チューブ材は、前記通路を通過させて流体を送るように適合されている、請求項6に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記チップ部分内に遠位端部が受容される膨張チューブ材を更に備え、前記膨張チューブ材は、前記膨張可能な部材に流体を送り且つ前記膨張可能な部材から流体を送るように適合されている、請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記中間部分は、所定の角度を有して構成されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記チップ部分は、前記チップ部分の遠隔磁気案内に応じる磁気材料を収容する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記所定の形状は概ね円形である、請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記チップ部分内に形成された通路内に遠位端部が受容される注射針を更に備え、前記注射針は、前記チップ部分の外側に延びて組織を穿刺するように適合されている、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記ループ部材はリング電極を搭載する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記ループ部材は、概ね直線状の部分と概ね円形の部分とを有し、これらの部分の両方が二方向偏向の前記平面内にある、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記膨張可能な部材は、前記絶縁部材の外側表面に装着されている、請求項5に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記針を通じて延びる熱電対ワイヤを更に備える、請求項13に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体及び前記中間部分を通じて延びて前記二方向偏向を可能にするプーラワイヤを更に備える、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体の近位側にある制御ハンドルを更に備え、前記プーラワイヤの近位端部は前記制御ハンドルに定着されており、前記制御ハンドルは、ユーザーが前記プーラワイヤを操作できるように構成されている、請求項18に記載のカテーテル。
