Claims (2)
- エンジンの排気管に取り付けられて排気ガス中のNOx濃度を検出するNOxセンサと、
前記NOxセンサをセンサ動作温度に昇温するヒータと、
外気温と車速で熱収支係数が参照されるように構成された熱収支係数マップであって、その熱収支係数の最大値が1で、最小値が0の範囲で、外気温と車速に応じて熱収支係数の領域が設定されると共に、外気温が高くなると熱収支係数の数値が大きくなり、外気温が低くなると熱収支係数の数値が小さくなるように熱収支係数の領域が設定された熱収支係数マップと、
前記熱収支係数マップから、測定された外気温と車速に基づいて熱収支係数を読み出す熱収支係数参照部と、
前記熱収支係数参照部で読み出した熱収支係数が提供され、他方、排気ガス温度と排気ガス流量とから排気ガスの熱量を算出し、その算出した排気ガスの熱量に、前記提供された熱収支係数を乗じることにより、前記NOxセンサに蓄積した蓄熱量を算出する蓄熱量算出部と、
前記蓄熱量算出部が算出した蓄熱量が、あらかじめ設定した乾燥判定値未満のときは、前記ヒータによる昇温を禁止し、前記蓄熱量算出部が算出した蓄熱量が前記乾燥判定値以上のときは、前記ヒータによる昇温を許可する昇温許可部とを備えたことを特徴とするNOxセンサ昇温装置。 - 前記蓄熱量算出部は、所定のサンプリングインターバルで排気ガス温度をサンプリングし、このサンプリングデータに前記熱収支係数を乗じて累積加算することにより、蓄熱量を算出することを特徴とする請求項1記載のNOxセンサ昇温装置。
