Description
Claims (16)
- 装置に割り当てられたサブスロットによりミリ波(mmWave)ネットワークにおいて可変ビットレート(VBR)データを送信する前記装置が、該装置に割り当てられたすべてのサブスロットでパケットを送信するための所定の期間を決定するステップであって、前記所定の期間は該所定の期間中に干渉情報を生成するための複数のビーコン期間を有する、前記決定するステップと、
前記装置の送信機が、前記割り当てられたサブスロットの一部のみによりデータを送信し、前記複数のビーコン期間中に異なるサブスロットを用いて、前記干渉情報を生成するため前記所定の期間中に前記装置に割り当てられたすべてのサブスロットのそれぞれにおいて少なくとも1つのパケットを前記ミリ波ネットワークの調整装置に送信するステップであって、前記VBRデータの送信は、前記所定の期間中に割り当てられたすべてのサブスロットの利用を要求しない、前記送信するステップと、
を有する方法。 - 前記送信機において、前記干渉を軽減するため、前記所定の期間における前記複数のサブスロットの各サブスロットにおけるデータの送信を不可にするステップをさらに有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- スリープモードに入り、前記スケジューリングされた送信に基づき前記所定の期間において電力を節約し、前記所定の期間中にパケットを送信するため定期的にウェイクするステップをさらに有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 調整装置が、前記mmWaveネットワークの複数の受信機の送信をスケジューリングするため、前記複数の受信機の複数の干渉情報を生成するための干渉データを収集するステップをさらに有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記干渉情報の生成は、前記調整装置が、前記受信機から送信された干渉データに基づき前記干渉情報を生成することを含む、請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記干渉情報の生成は、前記受信機から前記調整装置に前記干渉情報を送信することを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記干渉情報の生成は、前記調整装置が前記mmWaveネットワークのスーパーフレームのTDMA(Time Division Multiple Access)送信をスケジューリングすることを可能にするためである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 装置に割り当てられたすべてのサブスロットによりパケットを送信するための所定の期間を決定するサブスロットマネージャであって、前記所定の期間は、該所定の期間中に干渉情報を生成するための複数のビーコン期間を有する、前記サブスロットマネージャと、
ミリ波(mmWave)ネットワークにおいて可変ビットレート(VBR)データを送信する送信機であって、前記送信機は、前記割り当てられたサブスロットの一部のみにより送信し、前記複数のビーコン期間中に異なるサブスロットを用いて、前記所定の期間中に当該装置に割り当てられたすべてのサブスロットのそれぞれにより少なくとも1つのパケットを前記ミリ波ネットワークの調整装置に送信し、前記VBRの送信は、前記所定の期間中に割り当てられたすべてのサブスロットの利用を要求しない、前記送信機と、
を有する装置。 - 前記サブスロットマネージャは、クロックとDRAMとに接続される状態マシーンからなる、請求項8記載の装置。
- 前記サブスロットマネージャは、DRAMに接続されるプロセッサからなる、請求項8記載の装置。
- 前記サブスロットマネージャは、前記干渉情報を生成し、調整装置が前記mmWaveネットワークの受信機の送信をスケジューリングすることを可能にするため、前記干渉情報を前記調整装置に送信するよう構成される、請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記サブスロットマネージャは、調整装置が前記干渉情報を生成し、前記mmWaveネットワークの受信機の送信をスケジューリングすること可能にするため、データを前記調整装置に送信するよう構成される、請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記サブスロットマネージャは、当該装置のアンテナ指向性に基づき干渉情報を生成するための干渉データを有する干渉レポートのデータを調整装置に送信するよう構成される、請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記サブスロットマネージャは、前記mmWaveネットワークの環境が低データ密度環境である場合、送信機に対する割当ての各サブスロットにおけるデータの送信を不可にするよう構成され、
前記サブスロットマネージャはさらに、当該装置のアプリケーション要求の変更に対応するように、当該装置に対する前記割当てのサブスロットの割当てを動的に変更するよう構成される、請求項10記載の装置。 - 前記サブスロットマネージャは、連続するビーコン期間において連続的に各サブスロットにおいてデータを送信するよう構成される、請求項10記載の装置。
- 前記サブスロットマネージャは、前記サブスロットの少なくとも1つにおいてヌルデータを送信するよう構成される、請求項15記載の装置。
