Description
Claims (10)
- 外部から供給される交流電力を受信する充電プラグと、
前記充電プラグで受信された交流電力を、直流電力にそれぞれ変換し、前記変換された直流電力を出力してバッテリを充電する複数の充電器と、
前記バッテリに要求される充電電力値と、前記複数の充電器が有するそれぞれの最大出力電力値とを比較し、前記比較結果により前記バッテリに充電電力を供給する少なくとも1つの充電器を決める充電制御部と、を含み、
前記充電制御部は、
前記充電電力値よりも高い最大出力電力値を有する充電器が存在すると、前記充電電力値よりも高い最大出力電力値を有する1つの充電器を単独運転させ、
前記充電電力値よりも高い最大出力電力値を有する充電器が存在しないと、前記充電電力値に対応する複数の充電器の出力電力値の組合せのうち、最大電力効率が発生する組合せを確認し、前記確認した組合せにより前記バッテリに充電電力を供給する複数の充電器及び前記複数の充電器の出力電力値を決め、
前記最大出力電力値は、前記複数の充電器からそれぞれ最大に出力できる電力値であることを特徴とするバッテリ充電装置。 - 前記充電制御部は、前記充電電力値と同一サイズの電力を、前記単独運転する充電器の出力電力に設定することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ充電装置。
- 前記充電制御部は、前記充電電力値よりも高い最大出力電力を有する充電器が存在しないと、前記複数の充電器を並列運転させて、前記バッテリの充電が行われるように制御することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ充電装置。
- 前記充電制御部は、前記充電電力値に対応して、仕様が互いに異なる複数の充電器で発生し得る出力電力の組合せのうち、最大電力効率を有する組合せを確認し、前記確認した組合せを用いて、複数の充電器の出力電力をそれぞれ設定することを特徴とする請求項3に記載のバッテリ充電装置。
- 前記充電制御部は、前記充電電力値に対し、最大電力効率が得られる組合せ情報を格納し、
前記組合せ情報は、前記複数の充電器にそれぞれ設定された出力電力に対する情報であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のバッテリ充電装置。 - バッテリの容量による充電電力値を把握するステップと、
複数の充電器がそれぞれ有する最大出力電力値を用いて、前記把握した充電電力値よりも高い最大出力電力値を有するいずれか1つの特定充電器の存在可否を判断するステップと、
前記特定充電器が存在すると、前記特定充電器を単独運転させて、前記バッテリを充電するステップと、
前記特定充電器が存在しないと、前記充電電力値に対応する複数の充電器の出力電力値の組合せのうち、最大電力効率が発生する組合せを確認するステップと、
前記確認した組合せにより前記バッテリに充電電力を供給する複数の充電器及び前記複数の充電器の出力電力値を決めるステップと、
前記決められた複数の充電器の出力電力値を基に前記バッテリを充電するステップと、を含むことを特徴とするバッテリ充電方法。 - 前記単独運転させて、前記バッテリを充電するステップは、
前記充電電力値と同一の電力を、前記単独運転する充電器の出力電力に設定するステップと、
前記単独運転する充電器により、前記出力電力が発生するステップと、
前記発生した出力電力をバッテリに供給して、前記バッテリを充電させるステップと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリ充電方法。 - 前記決められた複数の充電器の出力電力値を基に前記バッテリを充電するステップは、
前記充電電力値に対応して、仕様が互いに異なる複数の充電器で発生し得る出力電力の組合せを確認するステップと、
前記確認した組合せのうち、最大電力効率を有する組合せを確認するステップと、
前記確認した組合せを用いて、前記並列運転する複数の充電器の出力電力をそれぞれ設定するステップと、
前記複数の充電器により、前記設定された出力電力がそれぞれ発生するステップと、
前記発生した出力電力をバッテリに供給して、前記バッテリを充電させるステップと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項6又7に記載のバッテリ充電方法。 - 前記組合せを確認するステップは、前記複数の充電器からの出力電力の和が、前記充電電力値と等しくなる組合せの数を確認するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバッテリ充電方法。
- 更に、前記バッテリの容量に基づいて算出される充電電力値のそれぞれに対し、最大電力効率が得られる前記複数の充電器の出力電力の組合せ情報を格納するステップを含み、
前記組合せを確認するステップは、前記格納された組合せ情報を用いて、最大電力効率を有する組合せを確認するステップを含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバッテリ充電方法。
