で表される化合物(b1)を70重量%以上含有することを特徴とする医療用樹脂組成物を提供することによって解決される。

で表される化合物(b1)を70重量%以上含有する単量体(B)の液剤、とからなり、前記粉剤又は前記液剤の少なくとも一方が重合開始剤(C)を含有する、医療用キットも本発明の好適な実施態様である。このような医療用キットは、該粉剤及び該液剤の2成分を混合するのみの容易な操作で樹脂組成物を調製することができる。粉剤又は液剤に重合開始剤(C)を含有させる方法としては、樹脂組成物の製造方法のところで説明した方法を採用できる。
・エチレングリコールジメタクリレート[1G、n=1、比重1.05g/ml(at 23℃)]
・ジエチレングリコールジメタクリレート[2G、n=2、比重1.07g/ml(at 23℃)]
・トリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート[3G、n=3、比重1.07g/ml(at 23℃)]
・テトラエチレングリコールジメタクリレート[4G、n=4、比重1.08g/ml(at 23℃)]
ジエチレングリコールジアクリレート[DEGDA、n=2、比重1.12g/ml(at 23℃)]
懸濁重合によって製造された、ポリメチルメタクリレートの粉剤(根上工業株式会社製「ハイパールD−100M」:重量平均分子量500,000、平均粒径約50〜80μm、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド0.5〜1.0重量%含有)4gとジエチレングリコールジメタクリレート(以下、2Gと略記することがある)の液剤2mlを混和し静置した。約24時間後に、餅状態となった混和物を、2mm×2mm×25mmの試験片が成形できるテフロン(登録商標)型に填入してクランプし、恒温チャンバー(エスペック社製「ST−101B1」)内にて65℃で60min、続いて100℃で90min加熱して重合を進行させた。自然放冷後、テフロン(登録商標)型から取り出した試験片を空気中に一日放置した後、万能試験機(インストロン5544)で三点曲げ試験(支点間距離:20mm、クロスヘッドスピード:0.5mm/min)を行い、曲げ弾性係数、曲げ強さ、最大撓み量および破断エネルギーをそれぞれ測定した。4種の曲げ特性測定の結果を表1及び図1〜4に示す。
実施例1において、液剤として2Gの代わりにトリエチレングリコールジメタクリレート(以下、3Gと略記することがある)又はテトラエチレングリコールジメタクリレート(以下、4Gと略記することがある)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、液剤と粉剤を混和し静置した。液剤として、3Gを用いた場合には約48時間後に、4Gを用いた場合には約96時間後に、餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、それぞれ試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。それぞれについて、4種の曲げ特性測定の結果を、表1及び図1〜4に示す。
実施例1において、液剤として2Gの代わりにエチレングリコールジメタクリレート(以下、1Gと略記することがある)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、液剤と粉剤を混和し静置した。約20時間後に、餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、それぞれ試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。4種の曲げ特性測定の結果を、表1及び図1〜4に示す。
市販のアクリル系義歯床用レジンである「アクロン」(株式会社ジーシー製)を用いて、その取扱説明書に指示された方法により2mm×2mm×25mmの大きさの試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。4種の曲げ特性測定の結果を表1に示す。また、比較データとして、各測定値を図1〜4に示す。
実施例1において、液剤として2Gの代わりにジエチレングリコールジアクリレート(以下、DEGDAと略記することがある)を用いたこと以外は、実施例1と同様にして、液剤と粉剤を混和し静置した。約12時間後に、餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、それぞれ試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。DEGDAは、2G中の両末端のメタクリロイル基のところが、アクリロイル基に代わったものである。それぞれの測定結果を表1に示す。このとき得られた成形品は、曲げ強さ及び曲げ弾性係数は、化合物(b1)が2Gの場合に得られた成形品よりは若干低かったが、最大撓み量及び破断エネルギーに関しては、2Gの場合に得られた成形品より高かった。
懸濁重合によって製造された、メチルメタクリレートとエチルメタクリレートとの等モル共重合体の粉剤(根上工業株式会社製「ハイパールD−200」:重量平均分子量500,000、平均粒径約70〜90μm、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド0.5〜1.0重量%含有)4gと1G(比較例3)又は2G(比較例3)2mlの液剤を混和し静置した。液剤として、1Gを用いた場合には約0.5時間後に、2Gを用いた場合には約1時間後に、餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、それぞれ試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。それぞれについて、得られた4種の曲げ特性の測定結果を表1に示す。重合体の粉剤にメチルメタクリレートとエチルメタクリレートとの等モル共重合体を用いた場合には、液剤が1G又は2Gのどちらの場合でも、最大撓み量及び破断エネルギーが著しく低い値であった。また、曲げ強さも著しく低い値であった。
懸濁重合によって製造された、ポリメチルメタクリレートの粉剤(根上工業株式会社製「ハイパールD−100M」:重量平均分子量500,000、平均粒径約50〜80μm、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド0.5〜1.0重量%含有)4gと1G及び3Gとの等モル混合物2mlの液剤を混和し静置した。約22時間後に、餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、それぞれ試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。それぞれについて、得られた4種の曲げ特性の測定結果を表1に示す。1Gと3Gとの等モル混合物の液剤を用いた場合には、最大撓み量及び破断エネルギーが、液剤が3Gのみの場合に得られる成形品(実施例2)より、著しく低い値であった。
本発明の樹脂組成物における粉剤と液剤との含有比(粉液比)が、重合させた成形品の機械的特性に与える影響について検討した。懸濁重合によって製造された、ポリメチルメタクリレートの粉剤(根上工業株式会社製「ハイパールD−100M」:重量平均分子量500,000、平均粒径約50〜80μm、ベンゾイルパーオキサイド0.5〜1.0重量%含有)と2Gの液剤を、粉液比[粉剤(g)/液剤(ml)]=1.2〜2.4の範囲において、0.2間隔で、それぞれ混和し静置した[静置時間(粉液比):約30時間(1.2)、約30時間(1.4)、約30時間(1.6)、約24時間(1.8)、約24時間(2.0)、約24時間(2.2)、約24時間(2.4)]。餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様にして、それぞれ試験片を作製して、万能試験機にて試験片の三点曲げ試験を行った。粉液比を横軸に、4種の曲げ特性の測定値をそれぞれ縦軸にプロットしたグラフを図5〜8に示す。各グラフには、比較データとして、比較例2に示した市販アクリル系義歯床用レジンの場合の測定結果を併せて示す。
本発明の樹脂組成物における粉剤と液剤との含有率(粉液比)が、重合させた成形品の組織構造に与える影響を検討した。ポリメチルメタクリレート粒子内に顔料(ダークピンク)を含む粉剤[株式会社ジーシー製「アクロン」の粉剤(該当規格:JIS T6501「義歯床用アクリル系レジン(第一種)」)]と液剤である2Gを、粉液比[粉剤(g)/液剤(ml)]=1.2〜2.4の範囲において、0.2間隔で、それぞれ混和し静置した[静置時間(粉液比):約30時間(1.2)、約30時間(1.4)、約30時間(1.6)、約24時間(1.8)、約24時間(2.0)、約24時間(2.2)、約24時間(2.4)]。餅状になった混和物を用いて、実施例1と同様の重合条件で、2mm×2mm×25mmの試験片を作製した。試験片を2mm×2mm×10mmに切断し、ミクロトーム用シリコン包埋板に入れてエポキシ樹脂(エポフィックス冷間埋込樹脂、ストルアス社製)で包埋し、24時間かけて硬化させた。エポキシ樹脂に包埋された試験片はミクロトーム(ULTRACUT E、Leica社製)を用いて硝子ナイフ(45°)で切削し、厚さ約5μmの薄切片を得た。薄切片試料は光学顕微鏡(オリンパス株式会社製、「BX51」)を用いて透過光にて200倍(対物レンズ20倍、接眼レンズ10倍)の条件下で観察し、接眼レンズに取り付けたデジタルカメラ(Canon PowerShot S95)で薄切片を撮影した。各粉液比において得られた成形品の薄切片の顕微鏡画像を図9〜15[図番(粉液比):図9(1.2)、図10(1.4)、図11(1.6)、図12(1.8)、図13(2.0)、図14(2.2)、図15(2.4)]に示す。

- 請求項1記載の医療用樹脂組成物からなる歯科用樹脂組成物。
- 請求項3記載の歯科用樹脂組成物を硬化させてなる義歯床又はマウスピース。
- 請求項1記載の医療用樹脂組成物からなる骨セメント。
- 重合体(A)の粉剤と、単量体(B)の液剤とを、重合開始剤(C)の存在下で混合して増粘させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の医療用樹脂組成物の製造方法。
- 重合体(A)が予め重合開始剤(C)を含有していることを特徴とする請求項6記載の医療用樹脂組成物の製造方法。
