Claims (3)
- 内燃機関のシリンダーブロックのシリンダーボアに対応する位置に形成されたシリンダー孔を開口し、前記シリンダー孔の周りに沿って形成された環状ビードを有する少なくとも1枚の金属製のガスケット基板を具える高圧燃焼ガスシール用の金属ガスケットにおいて、
前記環状ビードは、ガスケット基板からそれぞれ立ち上がりその先端部分が相互に離間する一対の傾斜壁からなる第1ビード部分と、前記一対の傾斜壁の先端部分から該傾斜壁の立ち上がり方向とは逆側に突出する断面谷状の第2ビード部分とを有し、
前記第1ビード部分の高さをFh1とし、前記第2ビード部分の高さをFh2とし、前記環状ビードの幅の半値をW1とし、前記第2ビード部分の幅をW2としたとき、Fh1>Fh2、かつ、W1>W2を満たし、
前記第1ビード部分と前記第2ビード部分の高さの比率(Fh2/Fh1)を0.037〜0.37の範囲内としたことを特徴とする金属ガスケット。 - 前記ガスケット基板を、それぞれの前記環状ビードの第1ビード部分同士が互いに対向する向きで2枚具える、請求項1に記載の金属ガスケット。
- 前記ガスケット基板を、隣接するガスケット基板間にてそれぞれの前記環状ビードの第1ビード部分の突出方向が相互に異なる向きで3枚具える、請求項1に記載の金属ガスケット。
